They’re rolling out Jayden Davey, Zach Merrett, Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti and Quinton Narkle for media this week… Richmond also have one of their co-captains, Marlion Pickett & Billy Cooper (VFL) for the Dreamtime presser.

Not sure it means anything about who is playing given Jayden definitely isn’t.

Hopefully with the focus on beefing up the club’s Indigenous care and connections they’ll have the war dance stuff sorted out properly though.

I think player participation is up to the players…

It would be great if we actually had Narkle as a selection option for this week given his form of n the VFL…!!

I've said it before but really think Hobbs should be in our centre square rotation a bit more, especially with Parish out. He didn't attend a single centre bounce on the weekend FWIW. It's very early, but we wasted nearly two years or Parish in the forward line...

Pidge to Bolton seems like the play, but he isn't a stay at home forward so I fully expect him to carve us up in the middle.

If we want any chance of playing finals, this is the must win game.

This is a must win game - but not because of finals.
It's because we have lost enough games recently;
We never win any of our so called 'marquee' games; and
We haven't beaten these pricks in 10 years.
It is winning time.

Big fan of Hobbs any reason why he is still unsigned?

Couldn't resist getting the wallet out. It's a seriously hot design.

Agreed! I grabbed one from Under Armour.... They have 30% off at the moment (plus another 30% off with ShopBack.)

Couldn't resist as this Dreamtime jumper looks flicking awesome!

In: Ridley, Kelly, Bryan
Out: Hind, Phillips, Shiel (Managed)

CBAs
Setterfield 50%
Stringer 50%
Zerrett 60%
Hobbs 50%
Caldwell 30%
Perkins 60%
Kelly can't play, delayed concussion.

Maybe Montgomerie in or Tex if they want a pressure forward

What I hope to happen
In: Ridley, Wanganeen
Out: Baldwin (omit), Menzie (omit)

B: McGrath Ridley Hind
HB: Redman Zerk-Thatcher Heppell
C: Durham Merrett Martin
HF: Perkins Weideman Davey
F: Stringer Langford McDonald-Tipungwuti
R: Draper Shiel Setterfield
In: Hobbs Caldwell Phillips D'Ambrosio
Sub: Wanganeen

Richmond only play Riewoldt and Miller as talls with Samson sometimes resting forward. So BZT and Ridley should provide adequate coverage with Langford swinging back if required. Having Hind for some leg speed will be required, but he has to defend better than he did on Saturday.

Wanganeen for Menzie is part form (Wanganeen had 5 tackles and some good pressure in a loss) and also Indigenous round related. Having Walla, Davey and Wanganeen on Sir Doug Nicholls round would be fun.

He can play if he doesn’t have symptoms and checks the boxes of the protocol.

Concussion protocol is from the day the concussion was sustained. So it’s the same timeframe as Ridley.
