Where can you sit with GA on level 3 without upgrading anyway ? If they sell remainder as reserved surely they must be the best bays ?
At this stage, looks like (only) Level 3 behind each goal - all rows
And once that fills up, as much standing room on Level 1 as they'll allow into the ground

What a narrow view

Those other suggestions provide no greater expectation than Clarke. I’m not a fan of Clarke but he has shown consistent form. Stephen’s has coughed it up as much as Clarke in his appearances and is Robert’s a Rowbottom replacement ?

Like I said nobody will care if Clarke doesn’t get a call up. But he deserves a shot as much as Stephen’s does.

Participation award, gee never heard anyone use that nugget ? Original stuff there LP1

To be fair I think Roberts could be a Rowbottom replacement, but it depends what it is about Rowbottom that we're wanting to replace.

If we want someone to do Rowbottom's defensive stuff, Clarke probably is the most logical replacement (not so much for one of Carlton's brutes but more the lighter types like a Walsh or Cerra).

But if we want someone who can come in and just get Rowbottom's 15-20 touches and lay some tackles, Roberts is a red hot chance at being able to do that.

I think it's more likely that, given he was managed last week rather than dropped, Campbell will be the only inclusion and some roles in the midfield will be shifted around between the likes of Mills, JPK, Florent etc.

Much better response. Though not sure you should be championing Florent in the be all and end all of kicking. He can find an opposition players chest as easily as a number of Swans players.

He’s better than Clarke bare in mind I actually like Florent off HB. The other option is Campbell off a wing and let’s leave our backline which did well last week the same. One of the two options for me.

Has Stephen’s improved his disposal or contest shirking ?

Is Bell, Wicks or LLoyd tagging in the midfield ?

Did you read my post about nobody would care if Clarke doesn’t get a call up?

You have a history of personally disliking players so it’s hard to really take anything you say with any kind of merit anyway.

My point stands that IF Clarke gets a call up it will have been well earned for consistent performance in the twos. If he doesn’t I’m not losing sleep over it.

My point is how many players we can carry in a negating role or with skill deficits when this is out of kilter with our kicking game.

Stephens disposal is ok and I disagree with your slur he is a contest shirker. That said his 2nds form is not strong enough to replace Rowbottom.

I do not personally dislike any of our players. Move on.

I think I’m giving the wrong impression as though I’m demanding Clarke’s inclusion. I don’t think he’s shown much when selected but if he’s performing consistently in the reserves and if they decide to reward that and think he’s earned a run then I wish him luck.

That’s it period.

I don’t think he’s comparable to Florent or a better option than others who have been suggested. (Admittedly I usually only watch reserves sporadically and read reports) I’m just saying IF they go that way good luck to him probably well earned.

Deserving is probably another argument.

I’m only listening to you because of your fantastic insight on Bell last week. Never have I read one of your posts that made so much sense to me. Legendary view really gave me a different perspective.

Now on Robert’s well I can’t argue haven’t seen enough to form an opinion.

Thanks for the compliment... I think :p

Fair enough I don’t think we need to go down that route but I do get your viewpoint

After 2 weeks as sub and zero gametime anywhere, I'd have thought Clarke probably plays VFL this week.

For me, COR the only one to come in from reserves, joining Campbell (for Bell probably). Playing an actual defender has all sorts of flow on effects, moves others from the backline to wing (Lloyd, Florent, Campbell) or mids (Florent, Gulden, JMac more), or forward (e.g. Campbell, Gulden) and others move up (Heeney, Paps). Re-shuffle, not direct replacement for Rowy.

Wouldn't be surprised if Horse drops Logan, but I hope he stays in over Amartey or McLean.

They're selling the bulk of Level 3 tickets to reserved now.

I'll put a large amount on attendance being 51-53k.

If you are intending to attend with general admission I would either be upgrading to a seat or getting there early.

Biggest game at Marvel for the year so far
As someone with GA tickets how early is early if you know what I mean. An hour? More?

Love the exchange of cultural gifts.
Sydney will give two beautifully painted emu eggs, which have been decorated in the colours of both clubs, curated by Aboriginal artist and proud Biripi, Worimi and Waradjuri Guri man Josh Sly.

The circle patterns on the emu eggs are symbolic of both teams and their communities coming together on Country.

“The eggs are resting in a hand-crafted coolamon, using traditional methods to cut and design. The coolamon was traditionally used to carry and transport food and water but was also used as a baby cradle,” Hodges said.

Not sure where this goes, but attending the first game this year on Friday and the digital membership process for mine is rubbish. Was wondering if there is a member's cap/scarf redemption cant see it anywhere so assume that there wasn't one this season? Is that right?

I got my cap in the mail

Certainly Lions look great, they are on their way to a top 2 finish and it was going to be hard regardless. Dees and Lions are in a league of their own. Streets ahead of the best of the rest.

Meanwhile we are competing with the Blues for the last 2 spots in the top 4. Will be another test to see where they are at. Beat them handily and it sets us up for top 4.
Freo contending too. They will replace us if they return to form and we do not

If you elected to receive a membership pack and not a gift voucher, that would have been sent in the mail.
