He had 8-9 poossies to half way through the third I believe? I think or at least it felt like all his turn overs just about led to goals. He was terrible today, he just got cheap connecting kicks once the game opened up. We will never be a good team if he is best 22. But like Lester - we will make excuse after excuse for him, about his toughness and running capacity until he gets to 90 odd games and he can't be excused anymore and he drops off the list. Sorry, I know I'm being tough on him but he played 2 good games last year, everyone lost their mind and he has been living off those games ever since.
Not to get into a debate about this, I have quoted facts they don’t lie. Your reply is based on your opinion/personal bias.

I added his negatives stats in another post above, which you must have missed whilst looking - he had 5 turnovers too, in the first half, not 4. 21 dis on the app does not equal a pass mark. He was diabolically bad in the first half, but if you like him you won't notice how bad he is, and given I dislike his play so much, I do notice it hahah I can't wait to be proven wrong on this by the way, I'd love for him to shut me up.

I understand the criticism of Robertson’s disposals and skills generally, but I thought he was very good in the last half (he was poor in the first half but wasn’t Robinson Crusoe). Gave him a vote (which might be my first for him) - it was hard to find 5 players deserving...

I saw he had votes and nearly fainted. 5 turn overs and 2 frees against that led to 3 goals from memory, 1 tackle and no 1%s.. 8 disposals to half time and he gets top 5. The rose coloured glasses we have with this Guy is unbelievable hahaha

Not sure at all. He said it was at a right angle. Hopefully just dislocated or what ever. They jabbed him and he said he couldn’t feel it aftwards.

Play on.

Damn, how does something as small as a tie end up at right angles inside a football boot?

Ole Richy needs a stint in the Magoos… He needs to talk to the scarecrow and tinman so he can find a heart pronto.
Send the message to the team. Getting a game on rep only I believe and that's not cutting it.

So many missed easy shots in the game from us. It has been telling for weeks now. Game against Hawthorn we kicked straight and looked what happened...

I'm over opposition players getting away without hand passing correctly. The professional propel the ball out to advantage with momentum and make it look lucky when tackled is a blight on the game. So is the ignoring dropping the ball scenario. Irks me and doesn't reward the effort of the defender nearly often enough. I never seem to notice us doing it half as much as other teams. Almost like its coached....

And people say players are overpaid.

Chris Fagan in his post match presser- Surprisingly even though we got well beaten there was quite a few positives to take out of the game.

Lol. It's a tough gig being coach of a young developing team, I think he's doing a stellar job. A matter of perspective really, you can get all negative and focus on being belted in the first half,, or you can focus on how we didn't let it turn into a 100 point loss despite being down to one on the bench.

He is one tough bloke. Ignoring it for the rest of this game is one thing, but can't see the medical staff letting him line up for a least a few weeks. Will depend on which toe - big toes are the worst ones to break as they are major contributor to balance.

He lacks serious urgency. Seems to be his character.

Brought more pressure than most of the half-arsed BS we served up at times today, so yep that gets a vote from me in an effort where I only gave out four. I'd rather something ventured, even if it doesn't pay off, than nothing much. In my opinion there's no point giving out votes based off a second half where we basically treaded water.

Rayner is a freak. What's really surprised me about him is his overhead marking, he reads the flight of the ball really well and times his jumps perfectly. People compare him to Dusty, but I see him being more like a quicker & more skillful version of Luke Parker. He's got a pretty unique set of attributes.

Yep we are all looking for different things. Thought his first half was absolutely diabolical but then again, might have been covering my eyes for most of it.

Could somebody please get a message to Fagan. Witherden is rubbish at the kick outs. Enact Plan B.

Were these the kick outs in the first half that you saw or the ones in the second half that you didn’t see because you abandoned ship at half time?

Meh, I’ll take a round where I consistently hit it sweetly off the tee and then circumnavigate the green with my putter over a game where I consistently scud it off the tee and then nail my putts, even for the same score. Even for a worse score. I can get a mower and a trowel and fix my short game in my backyard if I want to.
And we will still be in the club house having a beer together with the same score card.

Missed the second half, glad to see we put up a fight. With our injury situation not sure we are in a position to drop healthy players - I don’t want us to make 6 changes to a team that played well before today.

Also, what’s with all the Norf fans whinging about umpiring in a 10 goal win

They got three soft 50’s in the second half and got a little to used to them

The continual baying for “FIFTEE!!!!” thereafter was truly laughable.

Tough day at the office but honestly that was about a par for me. We struggle against pressing, physical sides like North. They have thrashed us in recent years.

The injuries were devastating, especially Charlie who is one of our few a-graders (on the same level as Beams, Zorko, Stef and Andrews).

Even in a 9 goal loss, Beams should be getting Brownlow votes for that game.

The turnovers are brutal to watch but they are generally occurring in situations where we are trying to move the ball in a direct attacking manner. Once our skills and confidence improve, those same plays will result in goals for us and not the opposition.

In terms of players, I think our outs should be Lester, Robertson and maybe Keays, plus whomever is injured.

I’m having a good laugh at the thread on their board about how Harris repeatedly mugged Ben Brown or whatever, and was allowed to get away with it due to an afl conspiracy to keep Brisbane competitive :D

Remember everyone saying how much we missed Rich when he came back last time. Really think it's just complacency and taking a spot for granted.

And what is up with Etihard/Marvel stadium? We're flying high with almost zero injuries and boom injured players everywhere. Lever also did his knee this round. The Thing wouldn't be impervious to injuries on this ground.
