Bad result in the end given where the game was with 10 mins to go, just stopped and got smashed around the ball. Glad that game is done though, Fremantle are dreadful, will never win a flag with Longmuir.

Didnt control the moments like we are used to. Structure was uneven without Checkers and the young kids couldnt do enough.

The umpiring was shithouse, but we shouldn’t have given up the lead we had.

The umpires almost single handedly gave them every score.

First goal was touched by IQ.
Second was the farce for not giving the ball back.
Third came from an imaginary holding at CHF.
Fourth from HTB in the centre with no prior.
Tying behind from imaginary high tackle from a duck.


That was nothing short of absolutely disgraceful.

I actually think it was a relatively impressive effort given our outs. 6 players under 10 games experience. Add onto that the in game injuries. We are absolutely decimated.
Short breaks. Travel.

Although I have to go nuffy mode and say I am absolutely perplexed by that free against Sullivan, directly in front 15 out from their goal. Completely changed the momentum and gave them the belief.
I don't care if it's technically in the book. There is no reason for that to be a free. Sullivan is sitting facing the opposite direction to the ump, so passes it to Nick to give. All in prompt time.
It does not sit right with me that that should be a free. Can we have common sense?

Anyway.... Richards and Harv are guns and Parker looked OK.

As soon as the backs started chipping to each other you just knew this would happen.

Matt Nicholls BOG. Had his feelings hurt because the players were putting the ball on the ground every time a ball up was called so he decides to ping us suddenly 15m out, directly in front.

ARC suddenly doesn't work when Quaynor clearly gets a touch on a kick for goal.

Our last 10 minutes but, by God it was awful. We went into our 2 minute defensive drill when we were 4 goals up and we were punished for it.

We let 2 points go there. The umpires certainly shifted the momentum, and we ran out of legs from injuries and reduced rotations and back-to-back 6 day breaks… but we should have iced it.

You know what? Screw the umpires. I’m actually proud with how we played, especially with the inexperienced side we put out.

Those missed chances in the second quarter were costly though and yes that final 10 minutes was not great.
the umpiring was absolutely disgraceful……no words. Definitely feels like a loss but we just have to take the points and hope it doesn’t cost us at the end of the season.
