Think jdg has already been ruled outIn: Howe, De Goey, Kreuger

Frampton to play forward-ruck.
Best you take up it with the AFL then..

The AFL has retained its 12-day concussion policy for 2024, but players outside of the elite men's and women's competitions will have to abide by a new 21-day protocol. 6 Mar 2024
Best you clarify the words with the AFL then, because they also use those words.Words are important. The policy gets labelled by journos as “12 days” but the provision allows players to return on the 12th day after the incident. Which makes it an 11 day break.

Umpire stole them and gave them to FreoEven Longmuir says Freo stole the 2pts.
He needs a spell regardless. He's so far out of form it's not funny.
I'm not his biggest advocate but did somebody say Kruuuuuggggeeesssss?

Prefacing by saying was watching on TV, the umpiring decisions in question seemed to be square ups. There was a 50 metre not paid to Fyfe when we gave the ball to someone other than him as opposed that not paid to Maynard. And that goal gifted to Darcy had the hallmark of the one we were gifted earlier in the game.I mean their seemed to be a flurry of frees, almost like the umpires were willing Freo over the line.
Frees that are let go during the match are suddenly paid in the closing stages of tight matches. Dubious free kicks can kick start a teams belief and momentum. It's the lack of consistency that people hate.
You can't blame people for being suspicious of umpiring. You would have to be completely naive if you think they don't influence results.
As per the AFL :Best you remember it’s an 11 day break. Which is important. It would have enabled Bytel to play last night if he was right. A 12 day break would not.
And I have taken it up with the AFL

Fyfe seemed to do something to him to cause it. He remonstrated with him after and Fyfe laughed.I’ve no doubt he plays next week…concerning soft tissue injuries at his age though.
As per the AFL :
The minimum 12-day protocol is as the name suggests a minimum number of days a player can return to play if they safely and medically clear the 11 steps in the protocol.
In 2023, when the minimum 12-day protocol operated in both the AFL and AFLW, 29% of AFL players missed more than one match following a concussion and 24% AFLW players missed more than one match following a concussion.
Agreed - which is hardly the case 15m out from goal in a stoppage-heavy passage of playI thought it was a ridiculous call, but it can be time wasting if the clock is stopped. Most time wasting is about giving players time to set up.
The point is we've played consecutive 6 day breaks. And 12 days minimum is 12 days in concussion protocols.
Allan holds his spot.Think jdg has already been ruled out

It's fairly obvious why players with concussion are missing 2 matches.
If there was one bit of sense spoken by hodge was common sense should prevail, before he reverted back to grunts, squeaks and whistles.
Has the AFL explained what the actual written rule Nichols was referring to yet?
I know there’s a rule about putting the ball down or giving it straight back to the umpire at a boundary throw in, but couldn’t see anything about a field ball up situation.
Good luck with that...Has the AFL explained.....?
