Looks like it'll come down to the wire for us Stanton. Congrats on a great score also. I'm sure there will be some other massive scores around also, so doubt either of us will win the prize, but I'm sure we'll be up there somewhere.

Cheers mate, i actually scored 2527, 4 weeks ago, came 38th overall, thought i might be a chance for the prize that week as it seemed an abnormally large score! I think if grimes gets 100, we may both be in the paper this week. Oh and and Lockyer 86 points or less please.

After i scored 2527 i backed it up with 2027, 1827 and gasp 1700 odd, hoping for that not to happen again lol

Goodes, ROK, Cox and Judd my only big tons. Sewell and Stokes were very average today.

Ablett doesn't play with injury, so he was always going to be pretty much 100% when he came back.
I honestly don't know why anyone traded him out. Just seems like a massive waste of 2 trades. For the sake of what? $50k?

I traded him out, not so much for the value he was going to go down but moreso for the loss of points. It didn't work out that well because Luke Power was crap. But the idea is I would have Power playing where other people would be playing Beams, Zaharakis, Coughlan and the likes.

It was a waste of 1 trade. I got Power in for Ablett and Ablett back in for Otten, so loss is 2 trades for the upgrade of 1 non-keeper (Otten) = 1 trade wasted.

Happy to tell you I've got him back in, only missed 1 game with him.

Thats my reasoning which I think stands up pretty well. If I had of picked Goodes (was 50k more than Power) than I'd now be a genius, probably in the top 30 or 40 or so.

You honestly thought he'd come back and score the way he has? At the time it seemed like a reasonable idea, I got Sewell which apart from this week has been a good trade and upgraded a few others. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

During the time he was out the extra cash allowed me to bring in Drummond, Steve Johnson and Newman. It sounded good last week, but combined this week they scored less than ablett

argh trading ablett out has ruined me lol, was ranked around 60th, and since the decision to trade him out and bring him back next week have plummeted and will drop further this week. hanging round the 2000 mark, has been disastrous, learn for next yr i guess!

Ablett (175), Goodes (166), Judd (163), Cox (147) EDIT - not including Fevola (160) Kosi (152), but nice scores...

Come on Super Swan..just get 130 (even 110) and I'll be happy..I'm not greedy... Why do I try to think too much outside the square?
