Probably a stupid question - but how does option 1 work? As in how do you get Sicily to DEF as you don't have any DPP players there?

While he's trading, if he chooses to trade out Cole, an "s" icon will appear on multi-position players. So...

1. Trade out Cole
2. Swap Sicily to DEF
3. Trade Walters into FWD.
4. Hppy almost summer in Canada.

This - I don't understand this - how do you do this as Kelly is not DPP - newb question
I've hit trade on Kelly.

Because McLean is DPP in my forward line I can substitute him to the midfield using the S next to his name and thus bring in a forward for Tim Kelly.

Fritsch my only playing fwd rookie but still stuck with playing 2 def rookies out of cole murray murphy keeffe (big bigbig mistake trading out doedee instead of mrray........ anywho)

So this week bringing in smith for cash gen and should bring in def premo but then miss walters? What to do.....

Telly > Walter's
Higgoat > SP Smith

$140k remaining
670 rank

Will have another look at Rocky this week before bringing him in

D: Simpson, Yeo, Sicily, Howe, Laird, Doedee (Finlayson, Murphy)
M: Dangerfield, Martin, Titchell, Cripps, Coniglio, Fyfe, Oliver, Walters (Holman, Phillips, Spargo)
R: Gawn, Martin (Crossley)
F: Heeney, McLean, Smith, Taranto, Fritsch, Ronke (Smith, Guelfi)

The Port players present a poser, none cut and dried.
Gray: Scoring could dip if he can be played more forward, but how far?
Rocky: Looks to have turned a corner, cheap, could be a handy M9 in a completed midline. Battle between his inner piglet and inner burnman rages on.
Westhoff: High variance scoring / role, doesn't represent value but if Ryder will really be rested, 100-avg seems reasonable.
Boak: BP, the quiet achiever, lowest ceiling, highest floor. A tad pricey at his output.
Jonas down back: Can he keep it up?

Find it really hard. Understand the Boak pick, reckon he's solid.
Just on Port, I note during the bye period they have 3 straight games at home.

I’m running without a Port player my line up (apart from the flimsy Barry) so considering one of their premiums carefully at this point

Next week...

LyJETT > Grundy:gun:
Naughton > 460K bye friendly defender:gun:

Following week...

Maxed out Rookie > Rookie
Ronke > Crouch:gun:
Billtruck > Budwah:gun:

8 trades left.
Team complete.:moustache:
Is Buddy going to be 112k in 3 weeks?

Ah, the old "you show me yours and I'll laugh my ******* head off at your stupidity" move. Sure. Note the Rocky/Burton/Graham (in/out)/Hibberd/McGrath/Billings trades. Add a pinch of crouch/Ryan/Venables injury and some truly scrape-off-the-bottom-of-your-shoe rookie selections, and I think we've pretty much covered it.

Yeah, I know right?

Rocky > Graham instead of Rocky > Coniglio ...why?

Probably Ronke, probably similar cash still to make, Fritsch steady and good (higher) output, can be fielded at minimal differential to a premo in current role. Assumes no bye clearance issue.
Thnx for that, was thinking ronke as well as he and Walters have the same bye so doesn’t change anything during the bye rounds for me.

Nobody is talking me out of Rockdick, burn me hard you serial sex pest, my body is ready :boar:

My team has slowly dropped back in the pecking order this past month (top 1k to 8k) and Cotton tells me I need a bold strategy.

Fritz > Smith
Kelly > Rockpig

Make cash on both trades :heavymultiply::moneybag::eggplant:

Plus Port have 8 out of the last 13 at Adelaide Oval.

Games away are Hawks, Carlton, Freo, Bulldogs and Pies

Might make sense to pick up some Port players for the rest of the season.

Just realised I can go:

Langdon -> Smith
Fritzl -> Dangerfield (via Walters ... who is overdue a move forward)

So yeah, I'll do that.

Means I hold Kelly an extra week and he will lose more but it is time to grab Danger. Team looks like this with 17 trades left:

As for Rocky, I’m passing this week. I’ve got a full midfield so he’d end up on my bench and unlikely to be used. However, I am prepared to pay the extra 30-35k next week for full bye coverage if he pulls in another big score.

What’s your current full midfield?

Venables > Tim Smith
Christensen > Angus Brayshaw (via Sicily to fwds)

Not ideal to trade out Christensen with a b/e of 25 but it does fix my Rd13 fwd line bye problem.
Leaves me with 21, 21, 18 starters for the bye rounds before any bye rd trades. Plan is to have 22 starters in each of the 3 bye rounds to minimise best 18 spud scores.

Feels good to have Billings at F8 where he belongs. Only downside is I have to start one of Richards/Cole this week. Hopefully Murphy misses again & I can loophole them like last week.
