YOLO trades this week
Walker to Malceski and Langdon to Suckling, p****d off with Walker's output this year after the 570k I invested in him and he is proving to be unreliable on and off field (2nd game he's missed now), I'd rather take Suckling's 100 1 week then 60 the next and play every week.

I've been going one-down, one-up for most trades lately (1/2, 1/2 & 2/1 over byes), if that was my team, I would go;

Clay > Bews
Fasolo > Wingard

FWIW
Clays playing now Cutler got the cut in the 19th hour phone trade. I'll see who the subs are with faz the sub winguard likely in if Langdon sub gun def unsure who.lol knew buddy would ton up.

One trade left for this round - not sure which option:

McEvoy > Ryder or Jacobs
Currie > low priced playing ruck

Fasolo or higgins > premo FWD (Dusty or Dalhaus)

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Yep, thats what I was struggling with o_O

I figured that if its going to cost up to $150K to get Currie to one of the cheaper playing rucks, then I may as well upgrade McEvoy and get a premo ruck who plays.....

Just my luck though, if I do that, McEvoy will come good. Had Roughy and finally ditched him the game he started scoring decently..

12 trades & 65k bank.

Was going to go Lloyd > Shenton/Cameron & Langdon > Barlow, but AWalker & Cutler out has hampered that.

AWalker > Jaensch
Langdon > Barlow

or

Cutler > Lennon (via Langdon & Danger DPP)
Lloyd > Shenton/Cameron

Option 1 gets me almost a full premo playing team (apart from KK at D6)

Option 2 cleans up the non-playing rookies, when the horizon for fwd & def rookies is looking very sparse + have 3 rookies playing (KK, Langdon & Lennon).

Thoughts?

Personally, I don't mind either - but leaning towards option one. I think Jaensch and Barlow will both be good pickups, particularly Barlow with Freo yet to really hit solid/consistent form of 2013 and an pretty good draw from here. Cutler shonuld just be a one game rest I would think, Lloyd not sure.
Normally I would advise option two for money making/ setting up rookies for 2nd half - but based on trade numbers and more quality rookies on horizon (read rookies thread, some tasty MIDs and FWDs coming I think...), I would try to achieve a complete team ASAP.

Other option is a hybrid;

Walker >Barlow (via Langdon DPP)
Lloyd > Lennon

&

next week - Langdon > Jaensch (~401k?)

Why does SC always consume my Fridays?! :straining:

Scrapping the downgrade option and think I need to bring in another ruck so McEvoy must go.
Tossing up between Ryder, Jacobs, Cox - not much between Ryder & Jacobs, and Cox a bit cheaper but lower scoring.
Any thoughts on Mumford - or is that just asking for trouble?

Not Mummy he seemed under done just week sauce seems to be the best ruck if you have a dpp ruck like thurlow/Brown someone like Hale/Dixon would a option.

I like your first option too.
Walker>Jaensch
Langdon>Barlow

If the Tigers get beaten badly, Lloyd may be in the picture again. Still some money there if he plays with a -3 BE. You can turf him in a week or two if he's still not selected.

Great side btw.

Lloyd to Rooey or Darling

Hesitant about both honestly. Darling - not convinced he should be a target "premo" to bring in. Kid has serious talent, no question - but needs to find consistent form and place within his team before he can come into SC calculations, and that is still variable IMO.
Roo is a tough one, as a Saints support I monitor him closely and, as I've said before, I'm not sure if you really want to bring him in this year. It's a turbulent year for us with a young group lacking consistency/structure/general top level experiance, and Roo is finding the going tough because of it. He opened with a huge bang, but his form was unbelievable - talking 2008/2009 stats exceeded even! This combined with his age really catching up to him (his knees are a huge concern for me).
If he starts to build later in year and come home strong then yes, but with this long to go - huge gamble, one I would not roll the dice on.

Argh feel so behind everyones team already and now Big Boy...
26.5k with 13 trades o_O

Tempted to go McEvoy -> Jacobs. Just pay the damn money and lock the Ruck division in for season... really don't know who else I trust to come good, and definitely don't want to use another trade on this...

To free up cash might be time to cull Polec for a KMitchell/ Shelton type player...

Any ideas?
