While you're taking scores out, get rid of his 151* as well and he's averaging 111 and 12th best mid in the league.

Still not that far out of it though, and for 550k (and with his POD status) he'd be a good pick up I reckon.

Hey guys,

I've already traded Hartley -> Collins, and have $216k in the kitty.

Looking at my final trade but can't decide which is best for my team... Some options im weighing up include:

B.Ken -> R.Gray (or any other MID up to $550k)
M.Brown -> Tippett or Lycett - this will give me ruck coverage also via DPP

OR I can just hold off, see how Trengove goes this week and then next week go B.Ken -> Trengove and allow me to do a mega-upgrade elsewhere??

McMillan was one of the few bullets I have dodged. Why has he gone backwards? He was averaging eighties wasnt he last year?

Anyone got enough faith to go Tucker this week and then Collins the week after as DEF downgrades, I'm really mulling it over and if Tucker had some good JS I'd be all over but a Ross screwjob could be right around the corner. Going BenKen/Grey & McCarthy/Collins leaves me with 18 trades and $159,900 in the bank. Going Tucker this week and then MBrown to Collins the following will really free up some cash. Just trying to find out the best way to go about some upgrades and getting ready for the byes, my 1st years doing it so some tips to not have everything fall apart would be cool...

M8 is my last remaining midfield upgrade (unless I upgrade Libba as a 'luxury' later in the year).

I was thinking about what would be better - finishing the midfield with Robbie Gray at bargain basement price or waiting and spending the extra 140K on Pendlebury post-bye.

which lead to an interesting general SC question...

Is it usually better to get value in earlier (such as Gray) or waiting and spending the extra on a sure thing (top 3 player for the position)(such as Pendles)?

I've been tossing up the same question. I've had Libba at M8 now for the second week. I will probably upgrade him eventually be he'll be one of if not the last one. While Robbie Gray is cheap now, someone else will be when it comes time to upgrade Libba. I'd concentrate on upgrading your lowest on field scorers first, not the guy avering 96 of whatever it is.
