With Rocky potentially playing, I'll have to cull Worpel a week early to get must have Whitfield.

Hopefully Naish debuts so I can upgrade from Lockhart instead of Hore.

Going all out to get my team as close to being finished as possible in the lead up to the byes. Have others I'd like to drop first but going

Walsh to Hinge via DPP
Hore to Whitfield

Leaves me pretty short on bench cover but happy to continue my push towards a team full of keepers

Defence - 1 Rookie
Mid - 2 Rookies
Ruck - Set
Forwards - 1 Rookie

Getting there, though my Round 12 bye isnt looking great

Any rookies that we’re hoping will debut? I guess if no-one does either way I’ll do a double downgrade. Will just have to be to hinge and baker

That’s what I’m aiming to do this week, especially if Rocky plays.

Current trade plans give me nearly $400k heading into next week.

Scrimshaw and Hayes to Baker and Hinge.

Yeah I don't think Rocky will play on second thoughts. Just as case of journalists falling over each other to break the story first.

That's interesting...Still think it means though that it's only minor, and he should be definitely back after his bye anyway. Was also at 10:59 AM so since then, seems like the assistant coach has ticked him off to travel at least

This was just released on afl.com.au

"The scan was pretty good, he's run today, so he'll be on the plane Tuesday," Power assistant coach Nathan Bassett told reporters on Monday afternoon.

"We wouldn't take him if we didn't think he was a good chance to play, so we think he's a good chance."

I feel like it's more the fact they fly out Tuesday. May as well take your leadership player, hope he's a chance to play, and use him for promotional needs if he isn't. Last year we took a majority of our list despite not all the players being named to play.

It said he ran today. Surely can't be that bad then..

I dunno about that
If I was a club doctor (for the record, I am not) I wouldn't want to risk a players recovery from a hamstring injury by putting him on a flight to China for a game he has no intention of playing. With the bye next week, I would have thought if there was any real doubt over Rockliff he wouldn't fly and have 2 weeks off.

The line I was most positive about was the 'scan was pretty good' part. Means that its not significant either way. Given his Round 12 bye, no point in trading even if he doesn't play

He came back on the ground so we always knew it wasn't too bad, you can still run with a bung hamstring. The reports, aka guesses by journalists, suggested he was done for a couple of weeks.

All reports today say Tom will fly to Shanghai. None actually say he'll play barring a few quotes stating 'hes hopeful' or 'a chance'.

Possibly. I'm not sure being on plane would really affect his recovery and I'm sure they've got the resources over there to continue his recovery. I still don't think he'll play though

...Maybe you really just want everyone to trade Rocky so you can have him all to yourself :p

Haha I'm in a situation where I'm probably trying to speak it into the world!

Rockliff > Whitfield is all but a hop, skip and a jump. I really want to make that trade. May even do it even if named...Will be slightly underdone and will miss next week regardless
