Josh Hill take a bow, probably his best game amid a sea of putrid from his team mates.

Frustrating day, in the end though if not for completely inexcusable misses from Redden and Duggen the 4 points were there for the taking. The footy gods are cruel, Le Cras taking a set shot for goal at his limit [40m] to keep us in the game is literally my worst nightmare. Time for Simmo to swing the axe, having a settled team line up is great but if you can't travel you shouldn't be allowed to step out on the flat track the following week.

Those focusing on Duggans kicking at goal are missing the point. He (after half time) , as much as anyone, was a mid that overlap ran and looked like taking us through some lines.

We got killed by their ability to just break forward and we couldn't run back with them. Gov was a huge loss.

But we need more run and class in the middle. We have done for years.

We'll finish top 4... but that game was embarrassing - so many mistakes from us resulted in goals for them. So many fumbles. Plus no one wanted to pick up the ball. Everytime the ball spilled over a pack, we had no one to pick it up. Bad playing, bad coaching, no intensity

There is nothing top 4 about this side. Peahearts.

Having McGovern out killed us, young Cole probably cost us as least 2 goals to be honest. Didn't help that the dogs were kissed on the dick by the umps and nobody on our team could kick to a leading forward.
They were missing Wood, it was all even. JK hang your head today.

There was a moment there in the last qtr where it was LeCras and two bulldogs players, and LeCra saunted over to it. He could have easily claimed it, gone into the middle and hit up a presumably defenceless forward line. Just that lack of initiative and drive to go for the risky opportunities pisses me off endlessly about this team. We haven't got a star studded midfield so we have to take chances and different avenues. We did it well last year, but this year it's like the playing group is just waiting for it to happen. They're too casual around the contest.

We need to make significant changes to our line up, as we simply can't rock up with the same old same old shit and expecting to win away.

Masten never to step onto the wing again (maybe half fwd to keep you apologists happy), LeCras gonzki, butler likewise, Gov to permanent CHF, Cripps to deep fwd plus something new in the middle, anything (but l have NFI what).

P.S. Cloke being bagged in the media after roughly the same performance as Kennedy.

Contested ball

That's where we lost it

As we lose it in every single away game

Too many passengers that think kicking one goal and not much else is job done for the week
Agree apart from Priddis we were killed at the stoppages.Duggan no impact again easily moved of the ball by bigger bodies,Redden no event again ,cheap disposals late,Hutchings also needs to contribute inside to help Priddis.Time for some new blood bigger bodies to have an impact.

Repeated piss weak defensive efforts in our forward half cost us.
LeCras just seems to hover in space.

He is injured or so out of form he needs a rest.

It also highlights how much we need McGovern. Key contests where talls pushed up to intercept on HF, stuffed it, then there were no players behind to stop the ball moving forward.

What shocks me, is all of WC systems fell appart, yet they nearly won. If a few players hadn't disposed so poorly, the result might have changed.

We won't win a premiership before JK, Lecca, Priddis, etc... Retire. Not with that pathetic excuse of a midfield. The recruiters completely f**ked this team over after Judd and Cousins left.

Because we can't lure any A grade mids over here or back home, in the case of P. Cripps. It's going to take a while to rebuild this midfield or at least just add what's missing, I have full confidence in the drafting of key forwards and defenders, and half backs, the small / medium forward recruitment is a worry though, we seem to draft small mids in hope they can turn into a small crumbing forward like Neates and Karpany. But they need to refresh that midfield, as much as I love Shuey, he was a non factor today, I don't think Gaff should have come back in this week. And Redden needs to find form in the WAFL. and those ripping on NN, Lycett was probably just as quiet today. It was probably his first meh game for the season.

Played like a bunch of dickheads today.
