Welcome back mateDon’t use ignore. Never will. I love the banter. If I’m banned I’m banned but luckily I have never been banned. Was just in Columbia for 2 weeks.

Bilings can’t be that stupid thoughGot a theory that Richo dropped Billings for this round because they're playing Frankston who are not too much of a side, so he should be able to find plenty of the ball. Also, Adam Skrobalak is the Frankston coach, as well as the St Kilda ruck coach so Richo will order for Skrobalak for none of his players to lay a glove on Billings to get his confidence back. Very very smart by Richo
Plugger...… that question is one that still burns in my mind.
It was basically after round 1 that it appeared their confidence was shot.....I just couldn't get my head around that.
As I mentioned yesterday,my best guess is that the game plan that they practiced on all Summer was no good from the start and early in the season the realization made that it was too late to change it.
We didn't have the skill/players to execute this plan leading to a rise in absolute confusion gameday and a subsequent drop in confidence...….leading to comically bad execution of skills etc.
The players were bad beyond belief.
What else!Bilings can’t be that stupid though
Hopefully he encounters a high degree of physicality as it's what he most needs.Got a theory that Richo dropped Billings for this round because they're playing Frankston who are not too much of a side, so he should be able to find plenty of the ball. I reckon he wants Billings to earn more of the hard ball and put a bit more defensive pressure on as a forward. The opposition teams have been easily moving the ball out of our forward line with little pressure from the half forwards especially.Bilings can’t be that stupid though
He has had 4 years to teach this to playersI reckon he wants Billings to earn more of the hard ball and put a bit more defensive pressure on as a forward. The opposition teams have been easily moving the ball out of our forward line with little pressure from the half forwards especially.
Nah Geary will have be "2 weeks" away for sometime a bit like what they have done with Richo...sat him on the bench out of the way of the real coaches in the box. What would you do once Geary is fit? Drop Rice?
What about when Gilbert is fit? Drop Coffield?
I for one will raise my hand on that one.I think we all knew the effect losing an absolute champion like Roo would have but maybe we were all too optimistic about others filling in.
Welcome back Peter SummersI certainly hope not.

What sort of world do we live in that has Lonie playing in the one's and Billings in the two's?Actually really like the side - bringing in Brown for Marshall was a no brainer. Marshall's a rookie forward/ruck who has been asked to play some tough roles this year without any consistency. No wonder he's struggling a bit. Brown to play deep and Austin to do some running around and intercepting hopefully.
Dropping Billings was inevitable - but I this is the perfect time - with the bye he only misses one game of AFL but gets two games at VFL level to start finding the ball a bit.
Position nomination is always nonsense - just filling in spots on a sheet - who knows where Clark will start - looked good in the midfield last week.
Battle strikes me as someone who may actually play better in the AFL rather than the VFL. Gets to the right spots - can mark and kick - will need to be watched because he's capable of kicking a few so that's a positive for the forward line.
Lonie playing because Long can't.
Don't mind Mav up forward and Dmac has been solid but unspectacular. Rice looks the goods and White needs some more consistency so a drop back is not unexpected.

I hate seeing talented players like Billings being dropped.
Let's take few things into account, He was still in the team despite being really horrible, while us the fans and the coaching staff every week hoping his form would turn around. He was selected every week , in hope he turns it around. While guys like Sinclair & Steele had to come through VFL and were in good form because of it. Dunstan, Rice, Austin, White made the most of their opportunities while given a chance in the first team.
The club believes giving him a run in the seconds can help him gain confidence. Let's just back that and get behind it.
I'm sure he will return in excellent form.
I'm hoping Freeman can string a few games together so he van get a game in the seniorsI hate seeing talented players like Billings being dropped.

We will play all 3.I'm not sure if this is the right forum, apologies if it's not.
Will Austin stay in the team when Carlisle is back? 100% gone? Brown will keep his spot over Austin?
Yeah it's in relation to supercoach, i'm a chance of winning overall so any help here is critical. It could make or break my year whether he's selected or not.
Cheers,
My guess is yes but we have 85 half backs so nothing is guaranteed.I'm not sure if this is the right forum, apologies if it's not.
