Early prediction, but I can't see Hammer and Lance surviving the cut. Membrey and Crouch look likely.

Hugo hasn't missed a beat, I'd like to see him straight back in but doubtful.

Hall looks clean below his knees, doing a lot of small forward stuff. Must be bloody tough coming into an AFL environment. Strangely enough, looks a bit like a Hotton clone.

Conditions are wrecking havoc, kicking for goal is hilarious. Many attempts ending out on the full thanks to the wind.

There may be some life left in Clark's career, every so often he does something that reminds me of that.

Don't normally talk about drills, but we did a bit of practice on dump kicks. I mean, why not embrace it.... possibly due to our midfield or more likely the chance of wet weather.

I always like the see the funny side of training and today's came from Wilks who casually kicked a barrel from full back to the mids group in the centre circle. Narrowly missed them, but I'd hate to think how far it would've gone had he actually tried to put his boot through it. Not actually sure why I found that funny, anyway....

Did anyone watch Footy Classified last night where it emerged that the umpire's coach is in their ear during games directing them to various things - supposedly for "acknowledgement" saying "good decision there boys and directing them where to run"?

Apparently a lot of the coaches didn't even know about this.
I'm surprised this has not made more waves yet - I think its a potential scandal actually. Imagine having someone sitting off field directing the on-field umpires. Opens things up to a lot of abuse and actual cheating.

What's wrong about giving them acknowledgement to them during the breaks? Its apparently been happening for close to ten years!!

Just atrocious for me.

Edit: Sorry wrong thread.

How can you rule out Hammer.

He's made a great start to his career as a 20 year old key forward

He's out performing similarly aged top draft picks.(Among key forwards)

He's 20, he's a key forward, don't expect miracles, expect moments, he's doing that.

"well done mate, now we know what a victory feels like ".

No need to wait for the trip home with modern technology.

This week, surviving the cut this week, I wasn't saying anything about careers.

Having said that, I'm already wrong about Crouch getting into the side so what would I know.

Good changes. Hopefully Membrey and Clark can bring their VFL form with them.

Butler probably rushed back but given the predicted rain, it could be worth the risk. Or maybe easing him in as the sub based off the others named on the bench?

Any chance windhager sub? Good to see hunter clark back. As an outsider seems like he's got a heap of untapped potential. Enjoy watching him

It's probably because I missed the Dees game completely (haven't watched a minute of it) but I have this feeling we'll get some run back and kill the Eagles.

Well defo get some run back, sadly it'll be on the spot and like usual our defence will be under siege.
