Scrub my previous 3 trades .....Rotham changed the strategy & put an extra player on the field this week (18)

$194K in the kitty .....allows Milera next week, but also keeps Answerth ($26K increase) ...Hore ($20K increase) ...Stocker ($22K increase)

Allows me to see the impact of Lever on Hore & decide who to bring Milera for in next week .....he's only scheduled for a $7K increase, and I gain points this week, by having the extra player on field

Lockhart to Rotham and Hayes to Hately. Means keeping Whitfield and playing 8 rookies this week but gives me 18 at least

I'm getting Sloane too to complete my mids. LOL!

Had enough of M.Crouch though, never again for me.

Had him last year and was dumb enough to start with him again this year. :(

Twice bitten, 3 times the fool right vast ?
Crouch has burnt me in the past in DT, but different reason

Was meh before his bye in 2017 and was averaging something like 96-97 on his bye, 5/13 100s, struggled to run games out, would be on 55-80 at HT and wouldn't ton up most weeks, scraping 80-95s, "upgraded" him to Jelwood who was averaging 110+ at the time, Jelwood gets tagged after his bye then cops a concussion and went downhill afterwards.

Crouch proceeds to ton up every week after his bye

Showed similar form last year in both formats when returning from injury, so will likely take the punt on him after the byes as I'll probably only be able to grab 1 of Fyfe/Neale for my remaining 2 mid spots

Option 2 looks the best to me. Considered Coniglio/Treloar?
Yeah I'm not sold on Coniglio, he's certainly a popular choice atm but that's largely due to his double century, looking at his other scores it's kind of so so.

Treloar I'll admit I hadn't considered, and didn't even look at his scoring breakdown. I see him absolutely butcher it every week, but his scoring looks decent, 7 times 100+ as opposed to Dusty with just 4. I guess he gets so much of it his efficiency isn't as big a factor as with some mids.

The only issue is the rd 13 bye, even if I get 3 actives in via trade next week I'd only be fielding maybe 15 if I went Treloar.

I’ve left it late to ask for advice/opinions.

Thoughts on Ross>Rotham via Answorth.

That leaves me with 20 albeit not all quality starters for this week.

Any other suggestions are welcome!!!

After saying I wouldn't trade this week I've made 2 trades.

Whitfield > Laird

Walsh > Coniglio

Had to trade Whitfield when he could be out for 6 weeks and that trade gave me the chance to turn Walsh into Coniglio for less than 100k so I pounced.

I should be right for 18 players next week so barring injuries I won't be trading but I'll no doubt cop more injuries.

Is Hately or Rotham worth it?
I presume Rotham will go straight out once superstar Hurn is back. And we have seen Hately go straight out despite how well he has played.

Isn't Hately an emergency?

Greene out, when I only got him in because he's one of very few round 14 bye forwards, would be totally flucked. Totally.

Would leave me with 17 scorers. May need to do a third trade and get rotham in for hayes via answerth.

Stupid game

So I've wound up doing three trades after all.

Whitfield > Milera

Lockhart > Cognilio

Hayes > Hately

Next week, surely one of Hately or Greene plays - maybe even both?

I had penciled in no trades this week lol

Bugger... I've been saying for 1 month that I'd bring in Hately when he next played. Yet, I won't be able to do it this week if he's a late in because my potential trade outs (& there are a few of them. EG: Ross, Scott, even Stocker) all play before GWS do. I don't have a Hayes or Lockhart.
