He sure does. It’s possible he’s a successful pick but when I already have Walsh, Steele, Oliver I don’t think I could take a risk of a borderline M8 selection. Glad I opted against Dawson, let’s see if Rowell pays off

I'm curious about some thoughts on what I should do. I'm playing a guy in my cash league and we despise each other. He somehow beats me every year, despite me having a better overall rank and always finishing top 4 in the league. I'm 10-1 and 2 games clear in first. First place receives their buy-in back ($100). He is only missing 2 premos this round which I'm fairly certain he did to try and beat me. Anyway, I'm currently projected to win by 60 and these are my current trades

Richards -> Moyle
Sweet -> Harrison
Fyfe -> Dawson Rowell (changed when he might've been a late out)

Rowell is horrible for my byes, although I should still manage 18 that week, but he is the only obvious option available and I'm 9k shy of Serong. Now here is my problem, is it worth undoing the Fyfe trade, since my opponent has him, trading Whitfield instead and getting Serong instead of Rowell? The plan was to grab Serong in 2 weeks after his bye but if I can cover it next week anyway, is that the smarter play, considering it could guarantee me the win and potentially end the season of a guy I hate.

In your position you need to put the league hatred aside, and do whatever sets you up best to score across the byes.

Serong has a 176 BE, so looks a much better buy after his bye now? Rowell’s lowest score at home is 135. I’m struggling this year so take my advice with a grain of salt, but I’d stick with Rowell, and get Serong later.

Plan was to get Serong week after his bye, i mean i could just trade clohesy and keep fyfe if i want to cancel out his pod. Rowell does put me in a tough position for round 14 thats all.

It’s borderline then isn’t it? Serong may well be a better option, but you have two weeks to fix Round 14 and hopefully get 19-20 playing if you stick with Rowell.

The way Fyfe has been going Clohesy likely out scores him anyway.
