I ended up doing Whitfield > Luke Ryan yesterday to help with numbers for Rd13 (spewing I didn't do a Whitfield > ZW Roughy manoeuvre)

I was planning on holding my 2 other trades but Punchy being a late out gives me only 17 starters (and that's if Hore plays)

I was thinking of doing Hayes > Baker on Monday to get me up to 18 starters but if Hore is a late out I could do a 3rd trade and swap him to Salem/Crisp but only if he's out as I don't really want either in my finished side.

Alternatively I could do Lockhart > Rotham & Libba > Parker/Oliver/Pendles ??? which would give me 19 starters (if Hore plays) and hopefully Answerth's 33 would then drop out

What would Judd_Magic do?

Judd Magic would have chased points and brought in COGS. The other two trades would have been used to bring in players priced at their maximum, so probably Jelly and Boak. I don’t recommend following JM.

Don’t trade. Cripps as Captain is as good as an extra player in this week of popular Captain carnage (Neale, Jelly)

If Hore is a late out, maybe ditch Hayes for Baker. Otherwise I would hold.

This is coming from somebody who traded Scott for Hately btw. So I acknowledge the hyopcrisy.

What would I do?

Drink lots and end up with Roighead somehow in my team. :drunk:

I didn't chase points though.

I was going to bring in a mid anyways as I had Dunkley and Telly stuck in my mids so needed to start getting them down forward.

Cogs was in my price point, had a great run home and looked to be over his injuries so went with him.

There, I have finished explaining my Cogs trade thank you veryyyyy much. :moustache:

I have had Cogs all year.

He is overrated, injury prone and derailing my season. And I am strongly considering ditching him before Walsh.

Even with his 200, he has a 5 round average of 101. That is barely acceptable for a premo defender and he is supposed to be premo mid...

I looked into all that and Cogs was playing injured a lot in those games with his finger and then had a game when he got a corkie.

So when I brought him in after his massive performance against the Suns I thought he was over his injuries and about to light up the second half of the season.

GWS were crap yesterday so I'll give Cogs one more chance before I start panicking.

What concerns me is he gets thrown in the forward pocket for 30-40% of the game.

Apart from that, he burns the footy. Literally half his kicks is just a dump kick to an opposition player.

Josh Kelly is a far better footballer.

Yeah I don't get why Cogs was playing forward nearly all second half yesterday.

Very strange...

Hate to break it to you, but that’s been his role all season.

Last week, he just happened to kick 3 goals from it.

I just wanted to bring you all down with me. :moustache:

you are supposed to bitch and moan about how much time he is spending forward so we all know to stay away.
His stats are still midfield worthy didnt realise he was spending that much time up forward. **** it if he spuds it next week I will **** him off for gull or someone else in rnd 14 at least he wont lose us money with the 200 still in his rotation.

I thought Cogs was meant to be a mid though?:drunk:

his breakeven will be still only 45 this week and by round 14 should be 550k.

Reverse roughy time me thinks. I didnt the same with Walters last year at least at least only 1 trade is all it will take to fix it.

The problem with Coniglio is his hurried disposal often misses the mark. Like Brad Crouch Treloar etc

The other problem last night was that he just didn't get the ball enough, not helped by their f***head coach playing him up forward instead of on the ball.

Cogs has next week to prove himself.

If he spuds up again I'm trading him to Sloane which should be a straight swap.

yeah next week will be interesting now. Want sloane but he is a rnd 15 target. After next week will look to bring in some defenders. The Gull obviously first on the list. Alot will depend on walsh and smiff also.

27 possies. Though 12 were in the first qtr.

Sounds alright on paper but he went missing a fair bit, especially in the last quarter when Adelaide started to dominate.

That's the problem when someone is playing forward, they don't see the ball much when it's mostly down the other end.
