Slightly worried about Gawn up against Grundy. Thinking that may affect his scoring somewhat with him not getting his usual 50 hit outs and having to be wary about where Grundy is considering how much possession he gets

Fair comment !!

Genuine question on Westy...

Is his average inflated due to the ruck minutes he got when Ryder went down?

Played significant time in the ruck when Ryder was missing and I worry that his scoring will take a big hit now that Ryder is back - assuming he he goes back to his forward role. I don't watch early enough Port games to know what his role has been and what it currently is though so anything I just mentioned could be complete garbage

Anyone watching the Pies closely have thoughts on Crisp? I considered him a few weeks back but luckily went with the crowd and got Gus instead, but it's not like Crisp is scoring poorly.

Would love to hear from anyone who's been watching them. Is it a role change? Confidence? Just the Pies' game lately (obvs very high scoring and sharing a lot)? Something else?

Should probably just go Yeo but Crisp seems like an interesting POD, and probably value too—76BE now, and probably not too much worse after his bye, which is next round, so good option then possibly.

(Of course what I see happening is that he has an average ~75-85 type round this week vs the Dees, I freak out and decide I can't possibly get him, then he smashes a 120 at Carlton.)

Haven't watched him at all, but I've traded him in this week at the moment. Though, if Laird plays I'll probably undo it. He's definitely one I'm keeping an eye on.

he finished off last year strong if i recall correctly, so i’m assuming that run at the start of the year of poor scores as an anomaly. and now with howe out too he should be set for some good scores

Struggling to field a solid team this week with all the potential outs as well as the BYE round.

Seriously considering bringing in Witts (via Stephenson DPP) to have my rucks always available throughout the bye rounds (Gawn/NicNat). Add a sneaky Mutch > Walters upgrade on top of this and I'm looking okay.

Outside injuries, 1800 is a fair target. Not counting the players having their byes, I got 1858 from my top 18 on the weekend (Coniglios 106 as Captain). I had three scores in the 70s and two in the 60s.

If I go by averages, 1822.4 (Coniglio as captain).

And my team is near pathetic!

Fair call.
Counting back I would have gotten 1792 + captain score (Probably Cogs so 1898), but that includes some fluky scores like Brayshaw, Fritsch, Beams, Holman, who could all go 50+ points less this week.
And my non-counting players would have been: 44, 43, 35, 23 (with 53 on the bench), so they would have been pure points lost.
And then with injuries that makes things more challenging.

Still think 1700 will be a very good score, 1800 will be excellent, unless it is a high scoring round.

Who for Fyfe? Sidebottom? Pendles? Preferably someone from the rd 13 bye for structure reasons.

Ideally I’d like someone less in value for a bit of cash generation.

Do you have Brayshaw? Beams? Of the Collingwood boys I would rank: Treloar, Pendlebury, Sidebottom, Phillips.

Wingard next week could be interesting. Lots of games at home, decent ceiling, way cheap.

Needs to show something this week though!

Also - Ryan Burton? Back to back 90s after a horrendous first two months. He was a near pick at the start of the year. Again cheap as chips (Doedee straight swap), has the good bye etc.

Confirmed, Dusty flying back to NZ instead.

Well thats truly screwed my team, although like mentioned by others it gives a reason to offload him.

Was going to go Stephenson upgrade to Brayshaw. That will now be Dusty to Brayshaw instead, which will leave me with plenty of $$ in the bank to help through the rest of the byes.

SHHHHH

Seriously thinking about copping a loss/average score this week and just stockpiling cash for upgrades over the rest of the byes. So much carnage and players like Billings that I don't want to keep. Thinking about trading Burton and maybe Gaff in this week and Macrae next

Gaff next week?

Yep definitely worthy of consideration.
I think people need to be realistic and have an expectation of which week they plan to excel in, and just hold on the other two weeks.

Yep perhaps Gaff next week and Macrae the following since his BE is still 160. Wouldn't mind another price drop from him!

Something like

Dusty > Ahern
Billings > Austin via Sicily DPP
Mutch > Giro

Gives me 631k for next week. And I honestly only see one downgrade there (Dusty > Ahern) but Dusty isn't going to be a top 8 mid anyway
