Ahhh jesus! Ebert

The big question is how come so many of the young players are going backwards at a rapid rate. Way too many. It cant just be down to recruitment. Our young players look like they have no idea what to do. Lack of Leaders or the coaching staff cant develop young players?

I would like to think that but atleast Richmond is backing their youth. We continue to play players like Lynch and Embley. I dont think the current coaches actually consider the development of the young players. Something is very wrong at our club.

Ignoring the part were we have consistently fielded the youngest side in the competition (most weeks)

Point taken :)but when the likes of Ebert, McGinnity and Brown who have been in the system for awhile seem to still play like nervous 1st gamers. I do question why? And I just reckon picking the likes of Lynch is sending the wrong message.

Our effort is decent, especially from some, but our ball use and our lack of any sort of adventure or daring is diabolical. But if you line up with a bunch of slow plodders all the way through your midfield what can you expect.

Please someone tell me why Swift wouldn't be out there today?

Ebert has had 15 possessions, 11 uncontested.

8 kicks, 7 handballs.

40, yes 40, percent efficiency. Surely we cannot tolerate this. I dont mind young blokes struggling with energy, getting out-bodied etc week to week, but basic uncontested possessions turning into turnovers just isn't good enough.
