Berry is really good at that role. He must compete 1on1 for the ball and play the tag that way rather than go completely negative. His tank also allows him to work his direct opponent hard when we have the ball.

When Windhager did the same thing to Reid a couple of weeks ago, literally holding and scragging him before he evern got the ball, everyone was going on about how he "demolished him" and got Reid frustrated etc which led to that sling tackle. Can't really argue with that.

But I'm glad its happening to a dual brownlow medallist on a Friday night and the borderline tactics can be highlighted a bit more.

The only difference is that Neale's team mates look like theyre doing something about it.

Just an FYI Maurice Rioli won 2 x Simpson medals for best on in the WAFL 2 years in a row and then backed it up the next year with a Norm Smith. He won two of those in losing grand finals.
