Steven or Cotch?
Trent Cotchin yay or nay
Steven or Cotch?
Mills -> Laird
Ben Kennedy -> Steven
Easy trades this week, 135k in the bank for next week's upgrades.
Don't think so unless you're after a POD.Is it worth an extra 20k to get Cotchin in over Ablett?
I picked up Cotchin a few weeks back when he was back from injury. Since then he's got me 120 every week. By far my most consistent player (OK maybe Dangerfield).
Do you have Ablett? I'm trading to similar players, don't have ablett though but thinking steven will be a lower risk option from here on out.
Blakley will get to $400k if not close. Collins also hasn't hit peak. Walla would be a good choice as he has made a fair bit of money already
He's not my worst player but he is the player I can justify of trading out, he's got a B/E of 118 and is projected to devalue by -17k. Before by trades this week I've got 12 players with the bye next week so I already need to be planning for next week now. If I'm already planning on trading him out next week why hold him if he's only going to go down in value. I've seen no indication that his midfield minutes will rise.
He survives! $1000 fine.
Franklin > Montagna?
The big bud is consistent but low ceiling it seems, too sideways?
Bit unsure about what to do this week...
Trade #1: I'd like to get Ablett in to round out my midfield, but not sure who to trade out. I have 3 midfielders out this week - Gaff, Zaharakis and Hunter. Not sure if it's worth losing the $$ on the first two vs. keeping them as M7 & M8. Alternatively, I have 5 mids out next week (Rockliff, Blakely, Lewis, Scully, Shiel), so could trade one of those. Shiel might be worth trading out as he's still worth more than I paid for him but has a high BE.
Trade #2: Probably Adams out for someone. I would like to bring in a ruck so that I can get some flexibility in my forward line as I'll have potentially 4 playing rucks next week, though I'll have 5-6 forwards too so perhaps a defender would be more useful.
i would start getting the backline fixed as that is where you'd have the biggest PODs as most peoples mid and forwards are close to completion. Ablett in for one of those three is too sideways and can be done later in the season. Go Adams to someone as he is losing value now. Lastly, Scully will probably average the least so you could be looking at getting him out (Blakely has money to be made).
My trades: Adams to Joyce, Mills to Laird
Side after trades:
Shaw Doch Laird Dea Wagner Ruggles (Collins, Joyce)
Danger Hanners Steven Rockliff Titch Hunter Duncan Blakely (Jansen, Davis)
Martin Gawn (Currie, Cox)
Merret Voldt Dusty Montagna Wells Kerridge (Reid, Mccarthy)
Thoughts?
V on Laird, C on Rockliff. If Laird goes well, move the C from Rockliff to a non playing player before full lockout on friday night.How do you do the loophole?
To make it easier - I might give Laird a go (Boyd/Vince on bench and not playing due to bye)
If Laird fails, I want Rocky to have the C - Mitchell and Zaharakis on the bench not playing.
VC on Thursday night player you want to loophole. If they score well, put the C on a non-playing player on your field, if not obviously choose another captain. Easy to do it bye rounds. Outside of byes the easiest is to pick one of your non-playing ruck bench, put them on the field and captain them, and then make your playing ruckman that you benched your emergency.How do you do the loophole?
