So VC on Laird, C on Rocky.

Seeds has been pretty good lately. Not sure I'd be bringing him in though, does my head in at times. Not bad for a D5/6 though.

Hey guys,
Can people offer some feedback?
I'm going Hopper (maxed out and coming off 2 weeks of 60 scores) for Phillips
and then Josh Smith for Kade Simpson
Is that okay?
I can either do that or do Lycett for Montagna this week? But I think a little too sideways because Lycett will be back next week I'm pretty sure and without Naitanui should average well.

It might be a little stupid to trade out Wells, but I am doing it anyway.
If someone convinces me otherwise I may think again.
My reasoning is: he will miss 2 games, and during the byes that hurts, so I really needed him to play this week. Plus, he's not a rookie, he's got a lot of value attached to him which equals missed points, So I'd rather trade to a premo who will play the next 2.
So at this stage it means my trades are:
Wells > Laird
Walla > Marsh

Yeah but Carlton play GWS!!
Hammelman is very risky to bring in this week given he'll be on the bye next week, so you get a free look and then can consider downgrade option in 2 weeks.

Changed my mind and I think instead of going Wells to Laird I'm going to go Wells to GAJ which more or less completes my midfield. Ablett has a lower BE than Laird. Only decision to make will be whether it's Ablett or Steven that I bring into my midfield, but Gold Coast's back end of the year coupled with the value in GAJ right now is pushing me towards him. Leaves me with $189k for next week to bring in Laird for Ruggles.
Decided to inverse my trades this week and get Ablett instead of Laird, given that it's going to be wet In AO tonight.
Still figuring out how I'm going to get Ablett into my midfield from here. Not doing it at the expense of Duncan this week, though.
Only way I see at the moment is by doing the following trade, which I'd prefer not to do given Hammelmann's rd 15 bye. At the end of the day, though if that'll get me Ablett, I will do that trade. Would prefer any defensive rookie playing with a rd 13/14 bye that's 125k. I don't want to bring in another defender, but that DPP link with Suckling may prove nice a bit later in the season as an added bonus.

Birchall > Ablett via Suckling/Hall
Hoping beyond hope that Drummond or Broad is named for Richmond. Would make my trades so much easier.

What rookie to get since Phillips got omitted?
Jack Leslie or Sam Reid it seems.
Could I wait until tomorrow to see if Leslie is in the final 22 and trade him in, or can't you do trades for players who aren't even playing tonight ?
DBJ probably reached about his level so I don't mind trading him (isn't playing) for Leslie who may play, then trade Hopper next week when he has a bye.

Has to involve getting in a R11 player so either T.Phillips or T.Mckenzie or J.Joyce but that means trading out guys such as Blakely, Ruggles, S.Collins ect a week early who all have money to make.
Have thought about the idea of trading S.Frost to a cheap ruck rookie maybe L.Pierce which could well happen if Currie is named this week because i think Frost is likely to be dropped after getting smashed by Sydney so he wont be of help in the R13 byes.
Wouldve been nice though to get rid of a R13 bye player this week
