For the sake of not spending anymore time responding to everyone who's quoting me I want to say that I'm just letting out a bit of frustration and totally exhausted continuing to put my time and energy into the club.

It'll probably change but not anytime soon. If you disagree with anything I've said and/or will continue to put your time and energy into watching them then more power to you, I've got nothing against any of it just personally had enough for a bit.

He was such a gun player until last year

How does a player go backwards like he has with so much talent and skills
Hope he gets through it and plays to his talent

disappointing
He's always been average and totally overrated

It's not one or the other. I didn’t want Ratten or Lyon. I wanted an untried coach from a successful, winning program that was currently in the AFL system.

Instead we went for a guy 3 years removed and surrounded him with ex St.Kilda players.
An untried coach would have done no better with the average list we have.
Im still back the experience of Ross to know exactly what we need and how to go about fixing it.

You don't find a way when you are watching a rabble and weekly you are realising the latest coach is not the messiah the Pres said he was.

List wise it's being proven no one can turn a turd into a chikito, no matter who is the highly paid coach.

hello Ratts.
Apologies but you are half right - this coaching group is A+ - (come to training & have a look) - some of the cattle aren’t

up to it

The most important people in the club over the next 6 months are Gubby & SOS - praying they weave some magic!

Na, I'm with you George.

Even people into BDSM have a limit.

Saints being let-downs while the league makes itself unwatchable is a perfect storm.

Billings, Jones and McKenzie playing VFL tomorrow.
Fingers crossed they all play well so we can make some serious changes against West Coast.

I forgot about McKenzie, it would be good to get him back too, our season turned to sh*t last year when he got injured.

We badly need to get some older and more seasoned players back as we are carrying too many kids that could do with a spell.

Owens and NWM are really the only kids we have that look like they are still going strong, they look like older seasoned players already.

Phillipou was going great guns early but he is starting to find out how tough the grind of AFL is and he is starting to look like the 18 year old kid he is.

You don't know that. Ross is not the messiah. Anyway it's whatever, you do you.

You’ll regret not watching next week when we hammer the Eagles by 13 points and we get a handful of centre clearances

I don't understand why the AFL has to tie all of its messaging to a particular round and why we as a club try to buy into it.

How many 'marquee' games do we have each year now?

Anzac Day
Indigenous
Homosexuality
Depression
Disease
(New Zealand expansion)

Any others I've missed?
Country round….🤣🤣🤣

On the train coming back from the game. A few comments from centre wing…

Q1 - no spread, beaten on the ground and in the air. Smacked in the clearances. Showed that we are mid table and Brisbane challengers. Also clear why we are apparently in for TDK. Marshall struggled in the ruck and we had no get out tall marking option.

At quarter time clearly the boys were told to play on with dare… we started outnumbering them around the ground and this were able to move the ball much better. Settling finally in to the ground we evened up in contested possession and by the end of the game actually gave ourselves a chance to steal the win.

Though they were largely starved for opportunity our young forward line managed to screw up a couple of excellent chances… King kicking over the top to Higgins comes to mind. This will improve as the years go on. Max is 22, Higgo 24, Pou 18, Hammer 19 and Mitch 19.

Brad Hill runs like an absolute machine… he gave so many options all over the ground. Without him we’d have lost by another 30-40 points.

Steele has clearly lost something… it’s worrying and hopefully he can regain it, because other than him and Mr reliable, Brad Crouch, the midfield is bare.

Overall a disappointing evening but not entirely unexpected and I’m choosing to see the positives.

I don't care if they re-sign him for the next 15 years. It's exhausting following this side. 33 years is enough patience lol, I've run out
It’s ****ing exhausting
Then watching Steele sooking it up after the game and Hill having a laugh

Just **** off

Oh I'll continue to watch, it'll just be from the comfort of my home and completely indifferent to the result.

It's time for a boycott

Yep. It's time. It shouldn't get to this point but here we are.

For far too long we have put up with this crap from St Kilda. For far too long we have been told better things are on the horizon.

It's time we sent a message to the club that we as supporters aren't going to put up with this crap anymore.

It's time for a walkout and boycott. Let's stop being meek and actually do something.

Chins up mate. We've all been here, good sleep and we go again

I don't understand how you can sit there and consistently run with the same midfield and expect different results. Steele is washed at the moment, there's no point playing both him and Crouch. Give the bloke a spell so he can actually recover.

The other thing that irked me is that Pou warmed up with the midfield group and did all the stoppage work with them but then played exclusively as a forward. The big problem we had with Ratts was his lack of flexibility when shit hit the fan. Feels like we're on the same ride again.
