Simpson has done his homework. The Weagles are holding back not allowing any easy movement on the transition. Not much space in our forward line and their tall backs are dominating us. Sam needs to make some adjustments. I don't know what they are.

Darling keeps flopping like a school kid. Almost 300 games in the AFL. What an absolute disgrace he is.

West coast employing the mega flood. We're struggling to break it - good experience for this young team.

We've missed a few chances sure but I'm enjoying this. Once again, people talk up conditions that would over-awe a young side (having the bye, playing against a vocal hostile crowd) and it seems to improve us, not weaken us.

Watson nailing that goal super important for us.

The defensive approach West Coast are taking is really taxing, They're using up all their tickets and we've still doubled their score at half time.
If they keep flooding back like that just get it to Sic, Newc, Scrim on 50. Let em rain from long range.

Most of us by half time

Happy to give Dear plenty of leeway because of his age, but boy, he really needs to lift in the second half, not possession-wise, but just providing the contest so McGovern and Barrass don't just waltz away with it.

We have struggled to kick it to his advantage, or their defenders have peeled off early to intercept. Not entirely the kid's fault.

Give these campaigners a rocket Sammy and tell them to stop effervessin’ with the ball, as Tommy Hafey would say.
We’re playing like millionaires, and we’re a long way from that.

Is it me or do our small forwards lack penetration with their shots on goal. Ginnivan, Moore and the wizard suspect on anything further than 35 meters out.

We had 5 free kicks in the first 10 minutes when we were up tackles 13-3. So for a quarter and a half we haven’t gotten anything.

West Coast are flooding numbers back and we’re struggling to get past it. McGovern is dominating Dear. A bit of rust on our kicking from the bye and it creates this shit-show.

Clean up that kick into the 50 and we should win but if we don’t they’ll claw it back in a Ross Lyon style slug.
