Supercoach can be a cruel mistress. Iv just had the worst 24 hours of my supercoach career......which could quite well, spell the end for my 2017 campaign. It all started with my fatal mistake to upgrade Dave Swallow to Paddy Cripps, a great idea at the time... Cripps was in outstanding form and primed for a big finish to the season while Swallow had been a solid servant but nothing special, or so I thought. Less then 48 hours, later Cripps lies in the ICU ward at the G with what looks like a long term injury ( scored 25 points for my trouble ) and too rub salt in the wounds I found out Swallow top scored for his team with 137. The cruelty doesn't end there, I then go down in my league game by 29 points, leaving me precariously at 7th position with only 3 rounds remaining, oh and i only have 4 trades left.. 3 after I let go of Cripps :(

What do you do  ........my team scored well with the exception of my much vaunted (and expensive) Midfield ..... Pendlebury, Sloane, Martin, Rockcliff ...:'(:'(

Final Score 2,205 and drowning ......who would have thought 5 weeks ago i was inside the top 2,000

How do people with brains work this shit out, Roberton has great game scores 70 odd, Martin / Rance play shockers score much the same.
Are there Rance/Martin/Dangerfield rates compared to peasants rates for the rest.

Beams, who I was going to trade to either Parker or Ward has now dropped 75k so I just have to hope he rebounds and save my last trade for an emergency as there's no-one else worth trading him to now.

My average score is 1,987.

2,273 last week was my highest score this year

Season Rank - 51,782

Holy shit.

Gutsroy is actually Nathan Buckley!

confirmed!!
At the risk of making a serious comment that doesn't involve a BE / price calculation, do feel for Buckley.
Malthouse poisoned the wells, Buckley probably did not have enough distance to senior players when he started, has been learning as he goes along, beset by injuries at times, drafting mediocre at best, roles such as Head of Football (or whatever the role is) have been a revolving door etc.
He hasn't really shown enough as a gameday tactician, seems to have been fairly stubborn in terms of gameplan, and man management / motivation are things he doesn't see as core to his role, but a senior coach needs to on balance, you'd think.
Just seems like a situation that needs to be brought to an end, six years of decline are pretty hard to look past in the end. Hope it plays out respectfully.

And eddy and pert?

Put a broom through the place?

There's actually a rumour (no idea if any truth to it) that Pert will (be) move(d) on at the end of the year.
One variant has Walsh sliding across into the role.
Would be a bit concerning sans any sort of review of external candidates.
Watch this space, I guess...
