Round 16 Trades

Hey guys,

Looking for some advice on what to do with my team this week.

Currently 8 trades and 110K in the bank.

Is Gawn a must have this week? As i can go Witts>Gawn.

Currently leaning towards parsons>Bayok (WCE non playing rookie) and S Bolton>Buddy.

I can then loophole T Lynch, Nank and Buddy where possible, and this would also move Greenwood to M9.

Any thoughts or feedback would be much appreciated.

And carnage for me..

Was going to downgrade Stewart and then hold the upgrade, but with GAJ out and Scotty still out..... too many non players and not enough trades.

option 1: 2nd trade - scooter to Gawn (and bolton to mids, ryder to fwd)
option 2: cop a donut

only 5 trades left (so need to think to finals) and $8K in bank

I like option 2. Gives you a premo ruck, saves a zero in your fwds.

You know what? I think I'm shifting gears and going to "Not Luke" Darcy.

This week, Darcy will essentially be loopholed against James Stewart's score via Nank, if JStew goes big, Nank goes into R2, Darcy to R3, and Cameron goes down forward to collect Stewart's score. Ideally in future weeks Greenwood comes back and I'll use him, or Lynch, as my loop option instead. If Darcy can rack up consistent scores bigger than Nanks then happy days.

That extra $477,800 I have in the bank becomes a one-for-one upgrade of someone - probably J Stewart - to Docherty, the clear missing link in my team, next week. I could even use it to get Gawn next week if I realise I've really ballsed this up. Either way, it'll leave me with 3 trades.

Is this too outrageous?

No. It might be a great move.

Noone is really screaming "pick me" with a GAJ sideways trade... plus it could well be a 1 week 'tightness' bloody thing anyway.

So I'm holding gaz for the week and going stewart to witherden and parsnip to whitfield.

Getting whitfield and holding gaz pushes fyfe to m9 (but covering gaz for now).
I don't want fyfes 500k at m9 permanently, but
I figure by next week I'll have a much better idea of whether:
A. Fyfe really is borked this year and
B. Whether gaz has a real hammy, or just one of these garbage 1-2 week things.

Doing this also gives me another look at gawn who's be is still pretty high at 95

Is everyone holding Greenwood? I'm guessing since he is 'rested' he will be straight back in next week?

Looking to get Witherden in. If Selwood is a late out, Witherden will be the cover for him.

Had the trades all sorted for this week then greenwood got rested and completely f'd up my plans

Having Greenwood and Greene out this week hurts.

I had planned on going Swallow-> Witherden
and Heppel-> Mitchell.

I have changed this to Swallow-> Witherden and
Greenwood-> Macrae.

I've had to go early on getting rid of greenwood, but it now just means Steele will become my F7/M9 swingman.

Left with 5 trades and $237k for changing Heppel-> Jelwood and either Witts-> Gawn or Tuohy->Doc, with 3 trades left for injuries.

Is this my best option or should i be looking at doing something else?
