Positives - Tackling has improved ten fold. Only taken 15 years.

Negatives - taking the wrong option and silly 50m penalties still a big problem.

They are very beatable but I have a feeling we might beat ourselves and Hawks will just score of our turnovers. If we limit the errors we can beat them as we look dangerous when using the corridor.

Hippy needs to kick straight and McStay needs to get into the game has not been sighted.

The backline has been just fine. It's the midfield that's the issue.

Hawks have done well to shut down our rebound from 50 too - haven’t allowed easy kicks inside and have mostly closed off our run and carry apart from the start of the second quarter.

I'm calling it; Cox will never make it as an AFL player

Ridiculous. He is 20 years old. I am frustrated as well but saying he isn't going to make it as an AFL player based on 1 half of football coming into a game of high pressure against a quality team coming from NEAFL (which is a joke with pressure compared to AFL) is way too early.

Here's a positive - we are all getting upset over little mistakes but are still in the game. Wasn't so long ago we would be down by 50 at half time.

Reckon it might blow out to a 30ish point margin in the end which isn’t a terrible result against a good side at a venue they play well.

We’ve been up and about but you can’t defy gravity forever. Normally our reality checks are much more severe. Progress!
