Most of his possessions are nor from clearances they are general play.I blame the midfield coaching. We have an inside mid who is the number one possession getter in the AFL and we can’t translate that into stoppage play where we at least break even? The midfield seem to all play as individuals. There’s no predictable “Mitch->Worp->JOM->clearance” pattern. Do they practice that? Every stoppage seems an unplanned scrabble.

As a clearance player doesn't rank top 10

TO must be #1 for bringing ball to groundTo be fair, we hardly have a player that ranks top 10 in anything.
TOM is #2 for disposals, #1 for handballs, #2 for uncontested possessions
Hardwick is #5 for rebounds.
Frost is #8 most for frees against.
Impey is #7 for bounces.
And that's it.

Not quite right... or not exactly a clear definition.Hmmm... this from the AFL's Fantasy Draft flyer for 2021 is the only place I've found that defines a clanger with any sort of authority. From the definition here a clanger is "something that goes wrong." Which is kind of useless for any meaningful analysis.

This this this !!! Titch and Worpel can win it but there's nothing like at other clubs where Jaeger (whos classy and has speed) runs through or any of our wings or half backs are running through and getting it forward..I blame the midfield coaching. He had 80% on the weekend with 400+ metres gained. Hardly poor with 7 clearances aswell, just isn't getting the score involvements because he's digging it out to no one. Midfield connection is poor.I agree. His efficiency isn't great. But this guy can find the footy in a poor team with a sh*t ruckman. And he's got no real support from other mids.

I disagree, reckon we'll only win by 20-odd. TOB to kick 7I fear this is going to get ugly.
Moore 3rd for tackles inside 50.
Out: Jiath (inj), Scrimshaw (inj), Kosi (managed), McEvoy (managed)
In: Hardwick, Newcombe, Lewis, Reeves
I can see the coaching staff turning this one into an almighty, low-scoring defensive slog to keep us in the game if it's wet.Predictions for how many goals we'll kick vs the best backline in the comp in the wet on Saturday ? I'll say 5.7.37.
I doubt we will get that many. Can we outscore Petracca? Line ball that one.Predictions for how many goals we'll kick vs the best backline in the comp in the wet on Saturday ? I'll say 5.7.37.
