I'll tell ye how it will be.
There will be a weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth, and the heavens will open up and fire will engulf the whole earth.
But the rest of the weekend will be fine and mild with a slight wind from the north east.

I don't think that's a serious prediction, mate...

Essendon vs. Hawthorn - by 56 (49,502)
I'm really looking forward to this game. Hope it's a cracker.

Gold Coast vs. Carlton - by 41 (19,341)
Gold Coast have a huge advantage playing at home, although Carlton do have a pretty good record interstate this year. Beaten Crows and Brisbane and lost to Sydney. I reckon Carlton will get up.

Melbourne vs. North Melbourne - by 125 (16,859)
Not exactly a blockbuster. You'd think North would win, and win comfortably. With both teams effectively out of finals contention you wouldn't imagine a huge crowd would turn up, but you never know.

Collingwood vs. GWS - by 48 (33,146)
After their loss to the Gold Coast, Collingwood are going to come out hard. GWS will lead early but fade out.

Geelong vs. St Kilda - by 98 (27,363)
Geelong won't want to lose to a minnow club two weeks in a row (how subtle is my trolling?). Will win comfortably.

Fremantle vs Adelaide - by 23 (32,279)
Adelaide will be up and about after their win. Fremantle won't want to lose twice in a row. I reckon Dockers will get an early lead before strangling Adelaide out of the game.

Port Adelaide vs. Brisbane - by 9 (17,314)
With Brisbane coming off a trip to Darwin, I'd expect them to be a little less than fresh for their trip down to West Lakes. Although I think they have Moloney and some others coming in so they shouldn't be too groggy. But, because it's our home game, I reckon we'll win. We've been pretty good at home lately. Wouldn't expect a huge crowd. Early Sunday afternoon (12:40 ffs), a low crowd drawing team, showers and a shithole of a stadium will mean a very small crowd.

Western Bulldogs vs. West Coast - by 16 (19,305)
Bulldogs with the upset of the round.

Sydney vs. Richmond - by 45 (25,389)
Should be interesting. Potentially top-4 defining. Sydney will win.

well now I'm really confused cause I went to look it up and the official website lists capacity at 53,359

I think they sold Restricted Viewing seats (i.e. Behind a Pylon!) which helped set the record attendance:

Sales of restricted-viewing seats helped Etihad Stadium post a record crowd of 56,771 for the rugby Test between the Wallabies and the British and Irish Lions.
Stadium spokesman Bill Lane says one of the reasons Saturday’s figure was more than 2000 higher than any crowd for an AFL game at the ground is because rugby fans were prepared to put up with views of only two-thirds of the playing surface.

Are you kidding me? It will get at least 50k and might even go very close to capacity.
Provided everyone turns up, it will get close to 54,000 which essentially is the absolute maximum an AFL game at Docklands can get.

It'll probably just knock 50,000, but I won't be surprised if the crowd only reaches the high 40's.
