He's in charge of getting the team right for Round 1, which they clearly weren't. He's in charge of team selection which has been crap. He's responsible for game day performance which has been crap.

If we went 3-0, we'd all be singing Rutten's praises. Can't have a bob each way. It's not about the list (which sure, needs work, but which list doesn't?).

Yeah but it can't continuously be every coach we get. Rutten's idea of how we should play is good, but he can't do anything when we're undersized in the midfield. He can't do anything about our forwardline. I also wouldn't put last week on the coach either because that type of effort predates Rutten's time at the club.

Rutten can't turn the whole culture around in one season. It's unrealistic.
