I'm quite chuffed with the way the first and second year players have stepped up and been competitive, but I can't wait to see Robinson and Christensen back on the park as well. That injection of experience will play well with the new guard. I think once they all gel some serious strides forward will happen.

I think the big issue is the disparity between say the stride of Taylor and the stride of Hipwood. 1 Hipwood stride is probably the equivalent to 2 Taylor strides because of their relative heights. Just have to make sure the right players are striding imo.

I think it's less about the length and more about the seriousness of the stride, as opposed to the alternative.
