Sucks if Bailey has to miss next week, but on the positive side, Lohmann can come straight in as a replacement.

I yelled "NO!" the second the ball left Cam's boot when he played the advantage. He's gotta improve and kick those to become a real gamebreaker.

If he's coughing up blood after a chest hit it could be longer. Broken rib to the lung type injury.

nothing wrong with the captain talking to the ump at half time. either to get some additional info on some past calls, or talk about if some of his players are being treated unfairly and wanting the umps to keep an eye on it.

Starce isn't slow. Definitely looks better than when Rich is down there though from a pace perspective. Given we had no idea who'd be ready to step up of we lost Rich, I feel very comfortable that will no longer be a problem.

Game is not done yet, remember last year's game against Demons. We looked a million bucks till half time and couldn't match it.

Need to continue taking our chances and winning in the midfield. Bolton got a little loose towards the end of the 2nd quarter there.

Yes with Rich and Starce out the backline smalls have given great service. Actually they are all doing well.

Kiddy a lock for AA next year if he stays fit. Could be one of our most important players very soon if not already.

Great first half. They are giving way too much leeway to Kidi. He’s killing it. Fwd line doing incredibly well. Going to be some tough days at the G for McStay if he actually pulls on the pies jumper and kicks like that.
Super happy to see Eric have some confidence in his game.
Are any vfl commentators smart enough to know Cumberland was a lions academy player? Haven’t heard it discussed at all.
