How about giving Denver a go in the backline with the saints having a smaller frwds, maybe he can get in the front foot , intercept and get some confidence back. Not likely as we have other options pushing for selection but not without merit.

Yes, like this idea. Saints don't have big forwards. They have Owens, Caminiti and Phillipou, who are all younger than DGB. He should be able to match up on one of them and Scrim and Sicily take the other two.

In Meek, Kosi, McKenzie (sub)

Out Reeves, Frost, Long.

I think we generally like to bring our sub into the squad the following week, rather then drop them.

Long might find a spot in the side, with DGB making way.

Meek had a good day against the Tigers VFL side and would have to be ahead of Ramma with him not playing any footy because of the concussion protocols.

Ryan presents and takes the ball at its highest point. I think we’d love to see what he’s got, and under the roof might be just the time.

Frenchy keeps putting his hand up. He should be in the mix as well.

I feel like our best is better than theirs but our worst is really poor still. They’ve been out of form for a really long period now and playing bad footy, god knows how they are still 6th on the ladder.

Hope we roll the sleeves up and give them another whack looking forward to it we’ve been playing marvel quite well this year.

End their season.

Youll Do It For Him Steven Universe GIF

Expecting a win. Hopefully the Richmond loss hasn’t shaken morale too much. Wanting to see the same style of footy. Attacking the corridor at every opportunity and putting their defence under serious pressure. Also two way running to assist our defence and provide options.

OUT:
Reeves
DGB
Long (Sub)

IN:
Meek
Ryan/Ramsden
Mackenzie

Outs:

Grainger Barrass - go back to the 2's and focus on becoming the defender you you drafted to be
Reeves - regardless of his suspension, i would have dropped him weeks ago. His lack of competitiveness around the ground and see him walk from to contest to contest and not being able to take a mark, is beyond frustrating
Brockman - undeniable talent but needs to develop urgency, work ethic and to bring some physicality

Ins:

Greene - has deficicnces but consistently has shots on goal
Meek - lacks some talent but always gives it his all and shows desperation - take note Reeves!
Long- has had an outstanding couple of weeks in the 2's so need to reward form

would also love to find a spot for MacKenzie has he is the midfield lass that is going to compliment Newcombe, Worpel, Ward and MacDonald in the years to come

I can't believe the Saints are 6th. Every game I've seen them play this year they've looked bottom 6 quality.
Shows just how bog average the competition is this year. Falls away greatly after the top 4.

What are the chances of Sis going to back to back and breaking his record again. I say, pretty high.

Ross is going to try the handball game to negate that.

Underrated for his courage. Constantly going back with the flight or sitting under high balls. Putting himself in a position where he could be cleaned up by a big forward. He'd probably be dead from a knee to the back of the head if he was playing back in the Podsiadly days.
