It almost never happens. I don't think any of those players are playing for their careers today, only one would be Stocker as he isn't contracted but it would be a huge surprise if he were delisted considering he's played nearly every game.

Because we'd be paying out a player fully and it will still come straight out of the cap. There's no upside to that, it's not like we are desperate for list spots right now.

The only player I can remember us doing that to in recent history is Robbie Young, who was one year into his draftee contract so in very little money.

I can remember it happening once when we delisted Robbie Young after one year aside from that it never happens and I can assure you none of those you mentioned will be delisted while under contract.

playing for your career can also mean you need to impress potential suitors at other clubs because you have fallen out of favour with the coach, how many players would be worried Ross doesn't rate them, many I'd suggest.

Same here. Normally would go to away games but at least if I'm watching it at home I can turn it off and do something else if we pull another St.Kilda.

yeah delisted, traded, whatever career was over before he left the club, my point is we have many players who aren't capable of taking us to the promised land and will feel like they are playing for their careers in this final few weeks.

Last time I checked. Luke didn't have a contract. And he moved to Melbourne as an UFA.

I'm hoping that the 1 point loss will mess with the young Hawks confidence just enough.
I'm also hoping Ross has a plan that involves not giving Sicily 43 touches of the pill.
And I'm hoping that the loss of Howard doesn't royally screw us over.

I'm sick of his muffled dialogue set up but I'm a sucker for anything based on a true story about war or crime so .

Glad to hear it's not a complete flop though xx
