That's the spirit. There is always more.Got given a bottle of very good whisky a few months ago. Had a snifter after a Hawks win earlier in the year when that was a rarity. Figured I'd have a nip whenever we won.

This is a very good whisky and not replaceable and I planned for it to last longer, but I can't give up the tradition now. We win - I drink.
I will buy another bottle of something good soon when it runs dry.

Carpe Diem
Very pleasing to win by such a margin after a tight first half where they were top for sustained periods. Scrim, Sic, Frost and Weddle really turned it around after an average first quarter.
Croc BOG with Day not far behind. Impey and Moore have it be in AA contention. Thought Newk, Meek and Ward were great with solid work from
Nash and Worps.
Watson has found his groove. Imagine how good he’ll be with another 20-30 games under his belt.
Will be in attendance next weekend and can’t to see the boys live. Hopefully no injuries from today.

The Crows were disgraceful late. I'm glad we didn't get an injury. The stomach punch to Moore, the smashing of Watson's head into the turf while he is on the bottom of the pack, the very dangerous late tackle on Jiath. Why no scrutiny from the broadcast team on that period of play from them? Seriously not cool. Actually was symbolic of their play all day, the kick into Sicily's back, the knee into Day's head while he's on the ground, and dirty tactics early try to be 'physical' because they knew they weren't going to be able to go with us, it was clear as day. All over looked, and rather the narrative from the commentary team was actually that we got a free cheapies, despite dominating the inside 50s but getting less frees....

We have elevated ourselves above the teams on the lower half of the ladder.
A good achievement and a big step forward.
Now we have to see if we can match it with the better teams.
GWS (away)and Carlton will be a great test of how good we really are.

We are switched on! A machine is forming.
Our run is seriously elite. We have a pretty weak spine in comparison to the challengers, yet we still manage to smash sides. If we can hold off well enough and get our pressure up, we can cover it for now. If we get a target or two in our spine over the next year or two, we are going to be so hard to play. We are already, but its scary we have that room for improvement as well.
Adelaide thought they'd stretch us with the huge forward line, but as the game went on, our backline players just ripped the game apart, running off big, slow players.
And you can't spell coward without crow - lots of dangerous, dog acts by their players who couldn't harder at the ball than our boys.

The punch to Moorey was poor and should get some punishment - but the elbow into Wiz's head while he was on the ground and being held down - that's a seriously dirty move and deserves more weeks than any tackle or trip or gut punch. Proper nasty move that one and one of the few times I really want to see a player get rubbed out.

It’s actually crazy how far we have come, Sammy is turning us into a ruthless side DURING the season is something else.
When sides play the man they get killed, it shows how much perceived impact (as well as pressure) we are building in the side.
Loved watching us lift when the game was tight. But Jesus what have we got with Calsher, insane competitor, he finds a way to get hands to ball like no kpf in his first year. The fact we basically picked up our whole forward line in one draft is genuinely insane.

Yeah cheap elbows to the smallest guy in the league, being held down by 4 of your mates is pretty pussy.
