All those talking about farewell games for gaff and darling etc have epitomised the state of our club

Professional sporting gnclubs don't give farewell games to anyone.
Team selection should be rewarded after deserving performances not just handed out for fun.

They do, especially if theyre greats of the club. Gaff, Darling and Sheed all deserve a farewell game when the time comes.
Its not an unusual thing to do, and to be fair if the squad was selected on form Gaff and Sheed would both be back in next week

Don’t like the mix of Gov/TB/HEd but all three ‘deserve’ to play for whatever that’s worth.

Flynn worth a go but **** me how tall can we be.

Sheed and Gaff were strongest in the WAFL, and LEd simply does not do it for me, but I don’t see the point. Do it if you want, why not.

Archer Reid deserves a game but perhaps Round 1, 2025 is the play. Cannot play JWill, Allen, Waterman plus AReid, and none of those are getting dropped that’s for sure.

It would help him a lot if everytime he was free in a good position the delivery too him wasn’t trash. Seems to get burnt a lot like that so far.

Deer in headlights when he gets it atm. Back to the magoos for the rest of the year for mine and get a big pre season under his belt.

Gov, Duggan and Dewar in would be good.

Would like to see Trew stay if he's not too badly injured.

Darling has to go for team balance, no way will JWill get dropped again.

Oscar also crap but shouldn't and won't be dropped.

Rotham possibly out for Gov, be hard to drop HEdwards despite that meaning we have 3 KPDs.

Culley is probably an out here, bit rough, not sure he's even had a proper go yet but he does look slow at times this was probably exacerbated by how slow we looked as a unit.

No issues with Hutchinson staying, deserves a crack in a more balanced team and who else would replace him if Dewar takes Darlings spot?

Ruck situation still needs sorting. Be great if we could get more TOG to JWill without being tall all over the ground.

Love Maric but not sure the wing works for him. He's too good for the WAFL though. Need to get him involved with ball in hand somehow.

Yeah good call....we need a bigger body in the middle against the giant witts....flynn in

I would still keep playing culley till the end of the year....I know the writing is on the wall for him but really we have nothing to lose and he could surprise

yeah it stuffed us up last night with freo getting there rotations onto young culley

and its sad for trew....I would like to see him have a run of games before the end of the year

Because he needed to go to hospital. Incredibly risky sending someone back out with a crook neck if you haven't scanned it to see just how bad it is.

Interested to see what the go is with Duggan. He’s just signed a 4 year extension and has had 2 concussions this year, not sure it’s worth bringing him in for the last handful of games and risking a 3rd. Second concussion apparently wasn’t quite as severe as the first but genuinely curious what the plan for him is the rest of the year.
