How much better is the commentary? While not brilliant, it's light years ahead of what we have to put up with now. Does anyone miss the extra two or three voices that are never needed?
it was much better back then, ay.

My predictor says, if we lose to Geelong and win the last 2. We end up 3rd & Cats 2nd.
if we win all 3 we are 2nd Cats are 3rd.

Doesn't really matter, either way it'll be an MCG game, so we'll get the home final.

Watching 360 and Jack seemed to be really excited about the game on Saturday. I hope the rest of the team is feeling similar and really feed off that excitement, put all that energy into the game.

I just hope it's not a repeat of 2015. I hope Conca and Griff are not rushed into the side for finals unless we're desperate. Have them play VFL for the rest of the year, make sure they really are fit for next year.
straight back in for finals. great additions to our reserves chances at the flag.

If you finish second can you avoid playing a prelim against the first place side?
Only if you both win week 1
Or if either side loses twice.

Beware the wounded Cat. I've lived down here too long to write this club off.

Yeah, but this wounded cat is cooked. A third of Geelong's best 22 won't be playing, due to either injury or suspension. And we're not talking fringe players here, but structurally pivotal players. I mean, seriously, Buzza Wiley will probably be Geelong's main KPF, and he's played all of three games. I've no idea who covers Selwood and Duncan, as our 'depth mids' (Horlin-Smith and Lang) are also injured. Richmond are playing a shell of a side, which is reflected in the current betting. This isn't a game that should 'test' a top 4 team, or even a mid-table team. Put it this way: I'll view a Geelong win this weekend as one for the ages.

Garbage, any game at the Cattery is hard to win,win for the ages my arse.

Don't think that is correct. If you both win round 1 you would only play each other in the GF.
If we win and they lose, they move to the same side of the draw as us and then if they win, we play them in the prelim.

I reckon, having watched Geelong my whole life, I'll decide what is a significant win for us and what isn't. Just as you'll decide what is a significant win for the Tigers. Like I said, Richmond are deserved favourites given the state of play, and a Geelong win will be an upset. Simples.

Given the Crows will play a Prelim in Adelaide, we need to avoid that at all costs.
