Just thinking outside the box here:

We've got too many good players at the moment and are struggling to think who to leave out when Jack comes back in.
The Cats have got too few good players and are struggling to fill a team with AFL-quality players.

For the sake of the game, the spectacle, TV audiences etc. why don't the AFL let us play with 20 on the ground and a 6-man bench (more quality) and Geelong can have 16 on the ground and a 2-man bench (less crappiness)?! Win-win situation. Someone get onto Gil....

With a top-four spot on the line and Patrick Dangerfield returning from suspension to take on Brownlow favourite, Dustin Martin, the Cats hope the crowd will get near to the qualifying final attendance of 32,458

Well we are due for a win against the Cats.... MRP and injuries helping. If we rock up and think it's going to happen we will get our butts handed to us. If we turn up with the same hunter attitude we have shown against the Hawks and at other times through this year, maintain it for 4 quarters we are good enough to get it done.

32k.
We could get that against Norf on Christmas Day.

It would be delicious to break the Cats curse on Saturday....

* Have the ground nearly empty in the last quarter showing how many Tiger fans were able to get tickets.
* Expose the lack of depth that Geelong have and their mediocre kids
* Likely improve our draft pick as they tumble out of the top 4
* Dangerfield coming to the painful realisation that he won't win a flag with the Cats but could have with Adelaide.
* Top 4 or better highly likely if we win

Went to Kardina Park as a kid circa 1980 and I remember as clear as day that as we were walking out of the ground after the game, a kid ran past and grabbed my mums umbrella and took off with it.

Now it wasn't raining and it wasn't an expensive brolly.

I asked my parents why he did that?

They replied....

It's Geelong!

I'd imagine the cats will come out firing with the missing players to prove a point, hopefully we can match them early and get control as the game goes on.

I like us to retain the 2nd ruck/tall forward even if Jack plays, having that 198+ player bringing the ball to ground for our smalls has worked well, and will help release Jack to run amok imo.
