I got a fair bit of love for Greenwood too, I love this group of players (which includes a third of no names), never say die.

Haven't read the game day thread but first quarter I was like, "yuk - what is this?" Then last quarter - "where did this come from?"

I wonder how many are playing with injuries? Pendlebury, Cox who else?

Question: How come the majority of the game was played on MCC side of the ground?

I think they were trolling Hinkley...

Just wanted to say congrats on great win and thanks for killing Port off. Helps us in the 8.

Good to see TV get his 200 today. Always liked him at the Cattery, was the Cats BF sponsored player for his duration with us and a top bloke.

Good to see Mots working still for us too - gave away that 50 that resulted in a Pies goal and shifted momentum back to your lot.

Goodluck going forward.

GO Catters

We would have won by over 100 if we kicked straight.
cox's kicking at goal and in field play was really astray. I dread it when he decides to short pass because he so often misses the target. Hopefully it's just an aberration, particularly given the improvement in his positioning and marking. He has become one of the great strengths of the team, so confident now with his overhead marking.

Good question, I don’t know why but it seems the vast majority of games played at the G always seem to have that wing favoured irrespective of who is playing so it can’t be specific team/gameplan related. Maybe there’s less influence of the wind on that side, who knows?

I believe it is because the players bench is on that side of the ground. Found it annoying when I used to sit at the great southern stand...

The season has been validated!! Will finish top 4. We have so many guns hard to see us not winning a flag in the next 3 years. Think we're in it up to our eye balls now. Wish I was there today

That last qtr came out No Where after 3 Average Qtrs. After Maynard's Goal Saving Tackle. We just put our Foot Down and Blu them out of the Water.

Grundy is the Best Ruck in the League and Easily win the Copeland.

Hopefully Oxley last game in AFL Team. Utterly Useless and Suppose Good Kick he kicks lot to the Opposition.

Murphy had a Great Debut and get excited what he can Become.

Mayne had his Best Game in Black and White. Was he Played out of Postion last year?

Great to be Back in Finals after 4 non-final seasons.

Top 4 still a Chance.

Great Game to see before I head of to Noosa Tommorow

Enjoy Noosa and have a safe trip.

He is definitely hampered by some kind of injury.

To be fair to Oxley he had a good 5 minute burst in the last quarter!
To his credit, there was a contest on centre wing where he put his body on the line to get to the ball first. It was like he knows it’s his knock, and thought this was his chance to stick up those Big Footy afficianadoes that pot him as soft.

Well done Ox.

(but you are still soft)

Tigers in the first week at the G with our injury list... I would rather take on the Tigers in the granny and hope we get some of our A graders back, we could beat them then.

Different logic but each to their own. One win to get to a prelim versus two gets my vote regardless of injuries or opposition.

He snuffed out their last chance early in the last beautifully.

That Maynard save in the last was Game Over. Having a very good year.

Good to catch up today TradeDraft
Love the advice you give the scumps.

Have a save trip to Noosa mate. :thumbsu:
