How one sided was the commentary the whole night?
We bank the 4 points and prepare for the biggest clash of our home and away season this year.

Rayner what a breakout game, absolute star
The usual cheer leading for the home Vic team.

They can all GAGF.

Go Lions!!!!!

Hard to tell from where I was sitting but I suspect we managed our fitness a lot during that game. Lot of our mids were benched or moved around a lot in the second half. Id guess the 5 day break and back to back to back tough finals like games is on our minds a lot at the moment

Matho destroyed Jack Steele.

Great win in the circumstances.

5 day break, desperate home team with some dodgy home town umpiring to boot.

How about we get behind our boys and have a bit of belief instead of whining and moaning about how bad we are.

We fished 6 -5 way from home and only had one really bad loss when Melbourne brought their absolute A game.

Anything can happen from here

Another four points. The lapses and the goals the come with it are a concern. King kicks like Rayner, it is a different story. We, as a team, need to be more disciplined in instances like the 3rd qtr. Neale needs to work out how to stay in the game when tagged. Harmes will be straight to him after seeing how he coped tonight.
Pray thats the game the unleashes Rayner. The boy is primed for finals footy.
Big O was great, Matho excellent on Steele, Starc good as always. Clugga great considering.
Just want to see that 4qtr game next week and show what we can do when it clicks. We are yet to see it.

At the ground and it was the weirdest game I’ve been to in years, just no atmosphere at all. It was like a funeral and saints fans were coming to say their farewells.

Thought we were great first half. Third was an absolute disgrace.

Good to hold on and win off a 5 day break.

We looked completely cooked. Several undisciplined moments and let off the hook with a bizaar string of misses from them.

Rayner best on for impact.

We are such a weird football team, the mental aspect of our our game is completely cooked.

The game day threads have become an absolute joke in recent seasons with a core group of posters making me wonder why the support the club or football at all.

The level of vitriol at the players and coaches has gone beyond what should be acceptable but seems like it’s now a free for all to abuse and denigrate the team we all should love.

We have won 60 games across the last 4 seasons vs 17 in the 4 years before that.

All for reasonable and even slightly unreasonable comments/suggestions but I think a few on here should be really embarrassed by how they talk about the club.

Not for one minute thinking we’re perfect and don’t have a lot of room for improvement but I’d hate to see what it’s be like if we win 3 games in a season like we did in 2016 and got pumped game after game.

We've played some pretty frustrating footy from the Hawks game till now yet we're still a 50/50 chance of finishing in the top 4 and if it wasn't for a Covid outbreak we could be sitting equal 1st right now.

Some shocking free kicks against us in the 3rd and 4th when we were just stopping their momentum which probably made their easy misses fair.

If you don't vote for Rayner tonight you are a bum.

Inconsistent and ugly. Thank goodness for Cam's burst. Our discipline is embarrassing. Not overly shocked when Zorko and Andrews are our biggest culprits. Leaches through the rest of the team
We gave away 12 free kicks and Andrew’s and Zorko gave away 3 between them.

Kinda kills your flawed argument.

Off a 5 day break not surprising. Lots of very tired guys.

Can’t imagine it’ll be a hard week on the track

Nothing flawed what so ever. They're to busy in oppositions ears spilling bullshit rather than playing. ****ing around while saints had loose players all over the joint. If they kicked those goals while we were in our rut, easy 20-30 point loss. Can thank our forwards tonight. Stayed away from the bullshit and got it done. Rayners most important game for the club. Hipwood also coming good.
