One thing the Tiges are really well drilled in is that whenever they take a high-ball to hand in and around a pack, they'll bend the knees and curl around the ball, knowing that nine times out of ten they'll draw a high-tackle. We keep getting sucked into it so it is obviously an effective tactic. Wish players could be more alive to this stuff in game and adapt.
