I think they must be fattening him up for a trade. He’s contracted for next season, so with any luck he can kick a couple of goals and look half competent and we can get a 4th rounder and get his $350k off our books! I’m sure Saints would take him.

Hawks play aggressive football through the corridor from the backline … I’m sure he’s in because he plays our defensive structures better than anyone. I’m not happy about it, but he’s clearly not in for anything other than that.

wouldn't mind Jack Graham being the sub...... for about 6 weeks now his first halves have been very very average before finishing the game a lot stronger in the second half.

That means he won’t play well as a sub until late which might be too late

Let’s not forget, if we listened to all the ‘experts’ on BigFooty the following would have happened:

1. Tarrant would have been consigned the the VFL about Round 3 with Biggy and Miller to be managing the backline.

2. Cotchin would have retired and our midfield would contain RCD and Ross every week.

3. Jack would have been playing VFL to give opportunity to youngsters.

4. A general attitude of ‘play the kids’ would have been adopted at Round 4, Round 6, Round 12 and after we lost to kangas.

Instead we are in the mix to make finals and from there you just never know. What I do know is it beats the hell out of being out of contention which is what would have happened of BF posters picked the team and not our MC.

fear not. take your pick......dimma will come up with something. cotchy has been a warrior (hammy awareness) vlossy a bit sore (rib tendonitis) miller (cramp awareness) george (dizziness and fainting before a set shot 15m out) prestia (food poisoning from last nights meatball) coaches will be using the sub as a 5th spare to inject fresh legs to prepare for finals.

fridge is pretty much gunna play finals and george will need to be exceptional to get a gig so fridge by a fair way. jacks late start to the season had him behind the 8 ball and maybe catching up for so much fitness has flattened him a bit, maybe a freshen up will get him back in the groove.

This makes zero sense given where we are.
We haven't even made finals yet, so presumably we are fighting for our finals survival and George is playing.
Wouldn't he have to be exceptional to get into the best team trying to get us into finals?
We make it he's in.

He'll end up playing 250 or 300 games at this rate for simply turning up.
