Personally don't think he is ready for the finals yet but we will see.

Games at the G should suit him. We need pace and pressure there. He did have a stinker against the Crows, but I am willing to give him another game.

But he doesn't bring pressure to the game. Don't get me wrong he's a future gun but his body and consistency is just not up for the finals at the moment. But the coaches love him and I hope he proves me wrong if he gets the chance to play again.

I'm expecting minimal changes at this point in the year.
Newman comes in for one of Towers or Hayward.
Can't see Cunningham or Aliir playing unless an injury/suspension occurs.

This thread title worries me a little. Carlton arent that bad. They have already beaten us once this year and to be honest they could do it again
I know! Scary has admitted it's 'primed for a backfire'.
Shits me they fell into a hole after they played us only to come back into form at our next encounter.

Cumulative fines do not take into account a bad record. On the 3rd fine, you get a 1 week suspension. It is actually better for us if he gets suspended from cumulative fines because then he has a clean slate going into the finals (In terms of fines).
I don't think this is correct.
I believe he will miss weeks in finals if he offends again. No clean slate. I could be wrong.

I think the boys are going to utterly destroy Carlton. I think carlton bullying mills has been a large part of kickstarting our season and I'm sure we are going to get stuck in. Joey indicated that we "owe them one" from earlier in the season and I think they just played their grand final against Hawthorn. Its gonna get ugly.

Perhaps Hayward may need a rest but is Cunningham had enough time in NEAFL to come in?
Have selectors decided on our rucks Sinclair/Tippett?
Where does Naismith fit in? If Naismith is fit, and considered in our top 2 rucks, then Naismith needs to play at least on H&A game.

REalistically think we're not going to get the percentage boost needed to get ahead of Port. :( Carlton did look alright against poo&piss and they'll have a dip against us. Was especially impressed with Pickett, very clean player and Nick Smith will have his hands full.

Swans by 28

Time for payback, for the Round 6 debacle.

Boys to come out breathing fire and atone for not backing up Mills in that match.
Especially that prick Wright!! Maybe we should target golden boy Silvagni. See how mum likes that!! No reports though, guys!!

I hope the boys go all out for a strong win to make up the percentage on Port. Our best payback for what Carlton did to us in Rd.6 would be to absolutely thrash them. Would much rather play Essendon than Melbourne in an elimination, so getting 5th spot is important for us imo. The Dees we played 5 or 6 games ago were well below full strength and will be very dangerous opposition for us.
