Geez I don't see the excess force on Brown from Rayner in that tackle. Surely momentum carried him forward rather than a true dangerous tackle. Definitely feels like he is going to be suspended though.

I really don't see what Rayner could've done, yes it was a hard tackle but even as they were going to ground the way he positioned himself was to avoid going completely into Brown's back. If he didn't show any duty of care he could have put Brown out for a month.

The entire defence was an absolute shambles. Rich was the only one who actually tried to defend. The rest sagged off and hoped someone else would pick up their opponent. Zero desperation from any of them,Pickett and Fritsch cruised around on their own all night. Absolutely pathetic but totally expected based on what we have seen this year.

Personally I don't mind Zorks nasty demeaner on the field. When he gives away 50s.......then I mind.

Big problem tonight is our non functioning forward line. Oh and Oscar trailing in behind their ruckman......constantly.

I believe it was on the cricket pitch so that grazing/blood on Brown's face was heightened.

It was a forceful tackle, with an element of sling (more rotation than sling, but some sling was there) and the arms were pinned. Its at least a week, especially as the ump reported it.

I really don't get the reporting. useless.

I could discuss quite a few really poor performances from players - but to me the game is way to fast for Lyons now. Zorko is also the worst leader in the AFL - gee that smug smile I even want to punch!

On a whole the team needs something fresh - a new generation to come through. Happy to see the rest of the year out but if we have 85% of the same team next year after what we have seen I will be very disappointed.

We should get on the front foot and ban him internally for a week so the AFL doesn't have to get involved. Not on and it also shows we don't stand for that kind of crap.

He should be next season if he's willing to take on the role. Doesn't seem like the loudest bloke but is well liked and leads from the front on and off the field.

On the contrary, I can't think of a good reason why someone else would be. Harris was groomed but is a shell of the player he was, can't put that burden on him.
