As someone under the weather at the moment, I couldn't see myself turning in a half-decent performance by the weekend. Reckon he'll be rested if he's not training fully.

I played with a sinus infection last weekend. Thought I may need a defibrillator after each bench rotation.

Must be an absolute nightmare at the elite level.

I feel it will be similar to Bateman when he wanted to move west. Wait till the seasons done, head home and be with your family and make a call during the trade period after he’s had some time to settle and know that he’s fully supported either way.

Perhaps, but I can't recall Chance having infant twins

He did look sore against them.

I don't mind this.
Wrap him up.

Give Kosi, DGB and Ryan sometime up forward to show their wares.

7 wins is more than a passmark IMO given how much experience we have shed.

No point in risking our A+ talent. Cotton wool time for Mr Lewis and pre-season awaits... though he'll probably want to front Freo. 😀

I agree, we need Lewis fit and available round 1 next year.

We can't afford a repeat of this year's slow start.

I know a wins a win but really winning big games against top 4 sides when your season is already over always feels like a hollow victory somewhat.

Would have much rather wins against mediocre teams like Essendon earlier in the year to keep us in the finals race than wins against Collingwood once our season is already done and dusted.

I know DGB has a bit of mongrel in him but isn't that taking it a bit far? :p

Not one of Raydon Tallis’ finest moments you mean

Never trash talk a guy who is a legend of the club you are playing at because he is at the end of his career, in a silly practice match

I loved Tallis, but he got what he deserved imho

You could have put that better. He is injury prone but does some pretty hard stuff on field. Gets a lot of attention, being our main target. He's looking stronger and bigger. Hopefully will be the huge fit unit going forward, from 2024 onwards.
Probably :thumbsu:

Pondering today how we can win this, and I can't find a way with the expected absentees. Would be happy to kick 10 goals.

Yeah, this. You feel every minuscule vibration when playing under the weather. Even working while crook is an entirely different ballgame to resting.
