Finally, so can everyone quit complaining about Clark's speed.

It pretty much looks right. When he is meant to chase he moves like a drugged tortoise usually. He's also come on fresh and probably told to burn his petrol tickets being the fresh legs.

Our backline is basiclly all baragins.

What that shows is that we ****ed up a lot of our drafting. A lot of those guys probably never get a look in at a club that drafted well funny enough. We've been forced to improvise and as good an achievement as it is our list still looks a fair bit off the top sides. We look really system over talent at the moment.

They mentioned that Hill was helping the defence out with his run. Byrnes plays because he doubts back at pace and fills hole in the same way. I added that bit on because he's the only other guy we have that can do it.
Byrnes is where he belongs TBBO

Not sure if you noticed , he was dropped and should have been weeks ago , if we are ever going to win a flag he wont be in the side IMO

There is no player in the AFL as good at trapping a bouncing ground ball than Sinclair. He lines them up from behind like a rugby player and takes them low off a half volley at pace and is ready to side step and evade immediately. Got some Robert Harvey in there too. Nas is a very good loose ball gatherer as well.
Zaine Cordy had a few ground ball moments that looked great on the weekend!

I'd like Byrnes to bump into Captain Frisky at TBBO and fill his hole ;)

RTB team selection is demonstrating how AFL has changed and players are more role players than ever before. The team is picked to maximise its attributes and to reduce the oppositions. For these reason you cannot measure a player's contribution by disposals.

RTB has used this season to play the young players as often as he could. I think at times at the expense of playing an experienced player, like Cordy who could have mentored the forwards on the ground.

RTB's selection and player positioning for the next two games will be interesting.

You forgotten about that bloke called Wood

NAS had a couply of fumbly moments on the weekend, many of our mids do get a touch fumbly and double clutch the pill (especially in traffic) the one grab guys stand out even at AFL level. Sincs truly is one of the elites.
That's average speed , nothing to do with his top speed
People hammer Clark about his tank as well though.

Hes not quick at all, not even the old "first step" quick but hes evasive and he runs pretty hard. Hes a proper whipping boy at this point and thats fair enough, high draft pick, oodles of potential, never really put it all together but the work rate criticism is a bit tired.

Lots of centre bounce appearances for Owens and Phillipou on the weekend. Ross is blooding the kids at the same time as the upswing in our performance.
Im not sure about Pou being in there just yet, he tends to get bodied out or fumble in traffic in the centre bounces (mind you he got great recovery and good tackling skills and defensive range).

He looks way more comfortable at around the ground stoppages.

Hes a ******* star and his potential is off the chart
Said it this morning, all going well he will be nearing 50 games before he turns 20.

Experience, a bit of preseason size, and tonnes of skill will hold us in good stead for the next decade.

I don't think we'd used the corridor more than a handful of times until the last month. Now we seem to be much more open and distributing every where. It would be good to see a heat map and see if I'm imagining it.
During the preseason and the early rounds we were playing through the corridor just as much, and then for about 2 months it just completely disappeared, only to reemerge. The change in ball movement and transition tactics has been so stark that you have to wonder whether it was deliberate.

Or in this situation(s)

It's a great passage of play for him. The whole thing.

He's threatened to do this multiple times (spin out of a tackle snap at goal) and I think he's kicked some of the best points of the year. Great to see this one work out!

It's a legit point of difference/personal touch. I reckon we'll see him kick a few goals like this over the years.

Knew big Ro Marshall was flying at training last week. What a performance.
F**k we're good when it all clicks. Think our best matches it with anyone. May take more time to bridge the gap between our best and worst, but the foundations are certainly there.
Hard not to be excited by our youngsters, too.
Pou has star qualities, albeit maybe a little down on impact at the moment (of course excluding the momentum shifting goal!).
Owens is so hard at it, can't wait to see him in the mids for big patches.
Windy is a great runner, works super hard, and has good disposal. Could be very good.
NWM is close to my favourite player. He is an elite user, and I love that he bites off the 45 kick often, backs himself in. Sometimes it doesn't come off, but most of the time he picks the right choice and executes like very few can in the whole league. Underrated.
Our senior players stood up.
Hill haters can gagf, he showed why he plays every week he's available.
Wood, Sincs, Webster, Battle, Crouch. All very good.
Wilkie yet to remove Jezza Cameron from his pocket.
What a f***in game, bring more of that and we win a final... maybe more.

How could this be correct, didn't come on to late in the first and then was off for 20 minutes with concussion.
Was this average over playing minutes as he would have played significantly less than the others.
Still nice to see stats confirming he is running hard.

Averages.
Yeah probably bumped up by low playing time.
Doesn’t disprove he can’t run out a game,
Nor the fact he isn’t quick off the mark.
But can’t say he isn’t having a dip.

Dunno if these been posted yet

Hunter Clark ay?
Average speed mate. Pretty sure ammos can run 10km an hour. It's not quick.
