Awful,

Zero fight.

Broom needs to go through this club starting with Kelly & Lav.

Kelly isn't even VFL level, slow as a truck.

Durham twice did not attack the footy.

Plain and simple. This isn't a gap in skill. It's a gap in effort, It's a gap in true desire, it's a mental gap.

The entire midfield, Merrett and Parish included, need to give themselves an uppercut with that quarter. Defensive running was non existent and I have seen a group of seagulls fight harder for a chip.

Defensive turnovers have been poor, but the amount of ball and lack of pressure eon it coming in is a tough ask.

It is the same issue I have been talking about for 5 weeks.
Can not find a player to mark forward of the ball. Sides just set up a strong midfield zone or man on man and force us down the line and then run forward as we can not mark it.
Until we can get someone to be some sort of chance of marking it and allowing us to move the footy forward a bit more quickly we will be ****ed.
Forget the poor defending. The first issue is actually having someone outside of the defenders who can mark the ball. Until we do we are easy to stop and then score against.

Actually the first issue was centre bounce clearances. I don't disagree that we need more marking options but the issue you've described was the least of our problems that quarter.

Peahearted efforts and shoddy disposal was at the heart of it.

Today should be the evidence needed that sure a big KPD would be nice but geez the midfield avoids criticism for a fair bit of the scoring the opposition does
