People asking why we recruited midfielders last year let me ask you this - how do you see our midfield depth so far this year? If anything we probably could have drafted one or two more mature aged mids IMO

My vent today involves the terrible position Leppitsch and the team have put me in. For the first time EVER I have found myself in complete agreement with an opinion piece published in the HeraldSun. Damn you News Ltd, damn you Leppitsch and damn you players! If this keeps up I could end up liking Andrew Bolt!

You can disagree with some of it. This line in particular

THE worst thing to happen to the winless and woeful Brisbane Lions was the first bounce of the premiership season.

I can think of multiple things in sat nights game alone that were worse than the first bounce, from memory that bounce was reasonably fair and I don't recall it breaking Tom Rockliff's ribs. I could be wrong though, that was many coping scotch's ago.

At least it wasn't written by Hammo, life would have been barely worth living then.
