Well you know the old rules like going for a mark and stuff were dangerous. It's much better to knee someone and get a free for getting there late. The announcers can't work out the rule, umpires don't understand either. Lonie got a much worse one early they let play on. They are shit.

Looks like we’ve gone back to last years gameplan.. flood back deep and just bomb it out of defensive 50m and hope Membrey/Bruce can take a contested mark.

Game is still winnable if we clean up going the other way and lower as Freo did not capitalise on their better forward thrusts.
