Round 3 trades

Oliver Wines from PTA was listed as emg/has orange dot. I swapped Viney because Melbourne play the Eagles and I just think Priddis was a better option, who will tear them up. Here's my team (not all that good, like I said did horrible with reserves, Frost, Macaffer, Currie are the only notable ones):

Got me 2,000 last week with Viney in the side.

That's a nice side !! :)
Ok, at this point the orange dot means he's listed on the extended interchange bench for Sunday. This time tomorrow (I think) it'll mean he's an emergency. Given how well he has played, I can't see Port significantly changing a winning side, particularly not taking out a tough hard midfielder ahead of the Showdown.

From what I've seen, Zorko, Danger and Hartlett might be losing a bit of cash this week. You could change Danger to Priddis for this week, and use some of the extra cash to either upgrade one of your worse performing rookies, or even the swap Hartlett to Hanley, who I think (you'll need to check this) is about to rise in value. Or you could upgrade Varcoe to Westhoff, who is also expected to go up. Just some food for thought.

The normal aim in recent years has been to make sure you have the best performing rookies in your side at this time, because they will go up on Sunday night/Monday morning. Today they are cheap, then they won't be. As we have more trades this year, and you can't hold onto them, you might want to look for players who will increase in value and let you change to premium players in a few weeks time...

Got the luxury of not needing any major fixups. Got one no-brainer trade, for the other I need to pick one of: Kommer to Jones; Daw to Rowe; Maric to Westhoff; or Murphy to Swan?

Good options. I'm not sure of my second option. If I go Kitchell to crouch i won't have much cash to upgrade. Maybe try to get a rookie on the bubble, although LeCras could be tempting.

I'm sure it'll all go pearshaped this weekend though... It would leave me with Kennedy at F6, although potentially I'll still need to make some changes...

I really appreciate you taking the time to take a look at my team and help me out. I'll take a look at changing some of those that you suggested! :)

WTF team value is only 8,659,700 but only has 99,500 in the bank? Doesn't add up.
Yeah, like I said, a lot of my reserves are basic unknown players which I picked to free up cash before Round 1 (wasn't the best thing I had done)

Going Sylvia -> JJK and Mitchell -> Whitfield. Karny can sit on the bench this week and probably get traded to Leuenberger next week (or, if trades permit, Karnezis to Rowe, Currie to Leuenberger, then swap Cox into the forwards and Rowe onto the ruck bench) because Kennedy and Whitfield are about to shoot up in price but I can wait another week on Leuenberger.

You have followed the same logic I have. The difference is i am trading Buddy out for Westhoff because if they both make 100 then it will make me 70k which is almost more than the expected increase of any single rookie (bar jaeger I think?)

Was considering that but highly doubt he keeps up his good scoring, mainly coz in the first 2 games he's kicked 5 goals, I think he'll drop off to around 80 pts per game which is still decent.

I only suggested the trade as a 1-2 week cash grab, then upgrade Dixon to a premo.

Traded Zorko >> JJK
Thinking of either uprgrading Koby Stevens to Libba or getting rid of Bolton >> Watson.
Any advice?

This week I'd go Koby > Libba. Can't see Watson breaking the Crawley tag and Libba should make 50k this week.

ok i have three trades im looking at please advise which two.

I have watts (dont laugh. mid price gamble.) and wanted to ditch him down to suban
I have jude bolton as a fwd and thinking of trading him to westhoff
and i want to sideways kane mitchell to wines.

At the moment i have gone with bolton to westhoff and mitchell to wines and moved watts to the bench, he isnt playing this week and will stay at full price and can fix him next week, gives me another week to see defensive options. Any thoughts?
