What concerns me about this week is that with no rotations in the 4th quarter last week you can bet that those that were left were being pushed in the "red zone" as the sport scientists call it. In other words being more vulnerable to injury.

Apart from the forced changes I wouldn't being against resting a few others. From the outside It might appear dangerously close to tanking but I think it could help avoid even more injuries in the following weeks.

Lucky we are not getting on a plane this week!

Someone just said Hedwards injured at training.
Anyone else hear this?
Or am I very late to the party and old news already.

I'm normally complaining about the late Sunday arvo timeslot which we always seem to get. Seems to take forever over the weekend.
However this week we need all the extra time we can get

Bazzo’s yet to run out a full WAFL game, Witherden’s ruled out under concussion protocols and there’s no way Winder is ahead of Petch.

I think Ryan will still play but you have him and Cripps out and Petch not coming back in, that’s rich. Also Simmo says Culley is right to go so I’d suggest he’s very likely to be getting his first game for the year too. Also SPS will be out and Witho under concussion protocols

OUT (at this present moment in time so far until the next injury) Simmo mentioned 3 players who played injured in last qtr on top of the 4 already known.
Shoo
Gov
SPS
Flyin
Witho
Chess
Crippa
Hedwards, apparantly.

IN
Some bloody luck please.

Let's at least be realistic.

To make Perth attractive to an established great player with no ties West and with every other club bidding the Eagles would need to pay massively above market rates.

That recruitment policy has failure written all over it.

Buddy Franklin went to Sydney and not WA for a reason.

The travel burden is tangible. Why would they do that with better options also throwing big $$$ at them?

Why hasn't it happened already?

No proactive management
